Yeah it's a shame the call ups couldn't stay in Utica to develop.
- A_SteamingLombardi

I thought Utica was where the veteran tweeners played and the training/learning league was the step above that league.

We will be fine in the team toughness department once we get our 2 superstars out of the Swedish league.

I sure hope Gadjovich works out. His office is in front of the net and he is pretty hard nosed

What call ups? There is only Goldy and Boucher. Should they be coddled indefinitely piling up points on the Comets?

YES, that’s exactly where they should be until they are capable of contributing full time to an NHL roster. There is a reason that multiple teams have waived/sent down both guys. There are probably some other guys who should also develop in the development league. Not every player who makes it to the AHL is a future NHL’er, in fact, most don’t make it.

Me too.
Keep reading good things about MacEwen, might be a good 4thliner eventually.
He has some speed, skill and grit.
Edit: we need a balance of everything. Right now we own the market on ahl players and Utica is owning market on the level below that. Injuries are killing them as well.

What determines that? Are you also in favor of coddling?

Yes not everyone makes it but isn't part of the process finding out?

Kid also has a good head on his shoulders. Only thing holding him back is his skating. Next season playing against men on Comets could accelerate how close Gadjo may be to working out.

MacEwen seems to have the tools but not the head for the game. So learning his role and position better may get him a call up next season.

Well done on not taking the bait earlier.

A sense of calm now that I found the Sortilege Maple Cream Liqueur AND the Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur. Peace on earth.

I’m in a very serene place right now, with all the fabulous music we shared today I just feel great.

Can you check the ingredients on the liqueurs to see if there is any dairy, if not I’ll go looking for them tomorrow.

Pointing out the flaws of the narrative, like it is factually incorrect to state that Biega is playing better now because of call up from Utica, is not bait.
