Anyone else really dislike Nolan? I know he wasn't brought here to be a scorer, but i cringe every time he has the puck. And he isn't good at takeaways. He's just a body. I would rather have D-Lo or Foligno for that role

Idk, I've seen it in a few places. Minnesota lists him at 201, wiki has him at 199. I assume you're referring to the pic of him doing pullups? He's over 6 feet with pretty big legs, it doesn't surprise me

Not saying you’re wrong, just surprising to me based on my recollections all.
The pull-up thing doesn’t bother me in the least, although it was funny.
I’m 6’5 and always had thicker lower body compared to my upper body So I sucked at pull-ups ... I could however do push-ups as well as anyone else.

That’s it.

So I guess Mittelstadt scored on a nice wrister vs Belarus. It was 14-0 so no contest obviously, but he does continue to impress.

He should spend the summer hitting the weight room pretty hard

Then we can see if he needs another year in college to get bigger, or if he’s ready for the pros

Weight doesn’t necessarily equal strength
So he very well could have some work to do

NHL season is a lot longer than college too
