Of course he will, everyone does. I'm just saying that the "he's barely a backup" was a stupid thing to say considering we had 2 NHL top 4 defensemen playing the first 20 games, 3 when Scandella finally got his feet under him and well below replacement level guys filling out the rest of the spots.

And the fact that they've only won 3 of those 8 games is pathetic. If your goalie allows 2 or less goals in regulation you should have a better record than 3-3-2.

Before Jack scored the last 2 goals, I mentioned to my son that he played one of the best games I have seen him play over the past 3 years. His effort was supreme, and noticeable different than most of this season.
My hat is off to you young man! Keep that effort up, it was a joy to watch.

Bogo looked charged up last night as well. Joined in the rush several times, had some nice play on the blue line.
Must have received a fresh batch.

It’s all the fourt liners fault we suck, that and Johnson....you know guys who play like 10 minutes a game and get paid $600k.
As soon as Botts fixes the 4th line, then, and only then will they be good.

In all seriousness, how anyone can’t see that the entire line-up is vastly underperforming is beyond me. Up until 2 games ago, even Jack was producing at a rate of a 2nd line center. The only one who was producing at par for their position was Kane.

The argument of Top 6 versus Bottom 6 as being responsible is answered fully and completely by one word.

He’s seemed under control lately.

But I’ve noticed once again this year our coach is compensating for a bad defense and bad goaltending (to start the year) by taking minimal chances, and playing a boring style.

Lehner did not play great or even good for the early part of the season. Soft goals ect.

Just because he is playing well now does not change how he played earlier this season.

Would be great to see him in a shoot out now with some confidence.

I think he's playing his way to a trade deadline move. Ulmark appears to be the future. Jbotts likes him alot.
