Seriously though, one of the biggest issues I have is with yanking Antipin out of the lineup ... let that kid play this year so he develops as quickly as possible.
Same with ERod....I’d love to see him on Jack’s Left...with Reino. Both could then Set-up Silent Sam like 10 times a game ... get that F’er some points man! |

I've heard the Flyers are easily out-thought. Samson is a must start in all fantasy formats. - RhinoFan
I was referring to girgs, but yeah Reinhart doesn't deserve it much more |

STEALTH TANK 101 - 22sabresQ
If Gus has his usual "good game" with 0 points as usual, we should be fine |

I understand it completely.
Housley is in on the stealth tanking.
He looks at the roster and thinks, why the F bother....these guys suck and haven’t been able to figure out a system in 4 years.
Goes to his office and pulls names ou5 of a jar for line combo’s
Reviews to make sure Eichel doesn’t have any finishers on his line.
31st, we are comin for ya! - IonSabres
Tpegs learned from Ted nolan trying to ruin the last tank.
Note to self: hire someone who wants the top pick (phil) as opposed to trying to win every minute or every game.
Phil has the job security

Seemingly most of the team has 4 points or fewer. Who could fault you for mixing them up? |

Aside form tanking:
Coaches definitely want these guys to not feel complacent.
Definitely a kick in the pants , watching from above |

Wow, there's a whole Russian city that is UFA.
Stealth tank 3. Risto with the hatty!
Flyers 5. Lehner gets ejected for fighting Simmonds at center-ice.

Can't fault the mix up, just the method. E-Rod getting put on the wing, as Mike mentioned, is silly. Reinhart should be in the press box, not the top line tonight. I'll take it as I hope my boy can bounce back, but there's a certain "throw it at the wall and see what sticks" attitude towards the lineups it seems...not a fan. |

Really doesn't make any sense. At this point, just put the best players with the best players. If you're gonna play Erod on the wing, at least play him on Eichels wing. The fact that Girgensons with his .18 points per game is playing with out best player is mind boggling. To a certain extent, I get playing Reinhart with Eichel because he's certainly not gonna score on the 4th line, but now Housley has brought the 4th line to Eichel. Just silly
Edit, math is not my forte, .13 ppg |

They could be show casing these guys for trades. Playing anyone with eichel, makes them look much better.

Yeah, I'm not at the "Kill Housley" stage, but a lot of decisions are disconcerting. His lack of experience, I think, is showing. His system isn't horrible, but it seems like the bottom lines are too slow to execute it as well as most of our defense. Roster changes, lineup changes and game plan seem like stabs in the dark.
We need another Jack-like game changer, so perhaps it is truly for the best as much as it pains me. |

The return for a player like Girgs though, even if he went on a 10 game pt streak, would be minimal at this point. What's the point of showcasing a guy who would get a 3rd round pick returned at best?
If we were seriously showcasing everyone then Johnson would be getting more time, Pouliot would be top line and Antipin wouldn't be getting benched for Gorges. I get where you're going and perhaps with Reinhart that's the case, just seems to have too many discrepancies between other players like Pouliot who are almost assuredly going to be moved come TDL.. |

And Pouliot has been the second best wing on this team. We're about to lose our #1 and 2 wingers. Truly terrifying |
