It's still odd given his tournament last year that he was an utter non factor until 12 minutes into the period.

He needs it lol. All the bs that was thrown about eichel being "lazy" is actually applicable to Nylander. Imo thats pretty much all thats holding him back. He gets pucks to the net, good speed and pretty good hands/vision.

This Canada Finland game should be the most competitive until the outdoor game on Friday.

On New Years' Eve, the US plays Finland at 4, and then the Russians play Sweden at 8, but with the Bills game being flexed to 4:25, nobody is going to be attending those games.

That's a good point, but not all of these guys will be drafted. Free agents now no where buffalo is and what we are about.

I wonder if the novelty wears off. I love this tournament, and the fact that it's here, and I know Canadian cities have hosted it multiple times, but I am guessing 7 years is too few in between. Plus, pretty much every Canadian that goes to see this thing probably already went and saw them play in Toronto last year anyway.
