I don't know why the Sabres would be in a rush to move him. His value is at its lowest. The Sabres have all the leverage in negotiations. He'll be here at least next year, if not longer unless someone does something stupid, but in a league with Chiarelli and Sweeney anything is possible...

Only reason is similar to the Bills moving Darius for a 5 th ( now).
Sounds like he is one of several who have a lackadaisical approach to their career.
Not exactly one who should be part of the core moving forward, and before h3 absolutely destroys all value get what you can.
