Our defense when fully healthy and with Letang playing as he's capable is pretty solid. But man do we struggle when one piece is off. And I don't see Cole going as anything but a drop off as he's better than Hunwick especially when paired with Schultz which is where Hunwick likely ends up.

Sullivan just usially plays his 2nd and 3rd pairing pretty even rather than a top 4. I expect him to keep them split for balance.

they got carried hard by mcdavid,leon and talbot last year. unless they all play like monsters that team won't be in the playoffs.

I dunno, I'm not a fan of it. I like McD, but I think he's pretty overrated and I really like Kreider.

You're not wrong, guess I thought they'd do it again. Miss Eberle even more then I thought and Klefbom has taken a step back plus the Sekera injury.

I'd do it. You get a good power forward to play with Crosby and a guy who is a bit of a downgrade from Letang for close to the same cap hit total cap hit. Both are on really nice cap hits which would leave the Pens with plenty of cap space for free agency.
