Forsberg with a handful of grade A saves this period and only a screened deflection has beaten him. Despite the W/L and minus the Caps game, he's been really solid.

Saad just doesn't seem like himself...of course when you've got to carry a 10.5m player it takes its toll...put him back with Kane.

Meanwhile Van 2-7-1 in their last 10...and the Hawks have finally tied it...as mentioned earlier - remember when this was a game that counted/mattered in the West. These were two top tier teams at the time. But the Canucks have been bad for a while and the Caretaker has charted a course to mediocrity for the Hawks and succeeded sadly.

At basically full speed. Shockingly the Canucks announcers didn't think it warranted a 5 minute major. I guess only a major penalty if he's stretchered off the ice....Bush league (frank)ing hit.
