where the hell is keiths head and game at....he single handledly blew a regulation win - bogiedoc
But without his brilliant play on ADBs goal maybe they lose it....he made two horrific plays tonight for sure, but you gotta ride that horse. |

hawks are hair above a .500 team...yet 1/2 their points come from great goalie play...
toews-panik-saad...had few decent shifts and chance...but basically the same ole nothing from them |

Another gimmick hockey win with Glass and 88 bailing out yet another pretty crummy team effort.
5 on 5 play tells the story. |

The Edmonton Oilers are a perfect example of why the draft is set up all wrong. In pure terms of selling the game by showcasing the best telent, the best teams should always have the first pick, this way you don't have telented players wasting their prime years on crappy teams. It's really outside the box thinking, but it would be great for the sport. |

I didn't even know Saad was playing... forgot we traded to get him back.
Hawks need this guy to step up in a big way for the 2nd 1/2 of the season. |

Please don't put Kane Toews and Keith out there to start OT. - Dieselhead
Hopefully Quenneville has finally learned that Toews doesn't belong #1 on anything...PP, PK or OT......now he has to realize that Keith and Seabrook are in the same boat. Have to go with the kids moving forward in these key times.....Schmaltz, Debrincat, Hayden, Hinestroza, Saad and of course Kane.
On the back end....Rutta, Forsling, Osterle, and Kempny.........but Q will never take time away from Keith.
Please move him SB.....get a 1st and prospects from somebody while he still has some value. |

Agree... Kane and Schmaltz (w/ AA, Hartman or whomever) seem to get pinned in their end regularily. They need to clean that up ASAP.
I would have had ADB-Kampf-Hino on the ice.
That line was actually great tonight. Kampf looks like he could he here for a while and I've been calling for Hinostroza to play for a while now. #48 was great tonight. |

this team is a mish/mash of sq pegs and round holes...been that way since 2015 and will continue to be a problem...cap, contracts, age (both young and old)

The fact this team is still in the hunt with 19 and 20 producing at anemic levels, with a team that can't win damn faceoffs (Kampf was near 50% tonight so that looks good, but Wingels and Schmaltz uggh), with injuries to your 2nd line C and goalie....does bode well if this team can figure something out.
I like what Osterle brings. Coach him up to be a bit more disciplined and you may have something. Kampf looked very good, I think much better than last night. Vinnie was also solid. Line 2 was awesome and Line 4 just keeps on keeping on. Line 3 showed some things....just gotta get something out of Line 1....wtf is wrong with those guys? Toews on pace for barely 50 points, Saad at 40 points? yuk!

Hartman showed some consistent effort all game long and got to the front of the net a few times (got his goal one of those times.) Nice to see him fitting in nicely with 8 and 88.
Line 1 looks like they all need to get their eyes checked, they just seem out of sync. Even when they are 100%, all three of them are streaky players. Maybe when one of them figures it out, the other two will follow. |

Hartman knows playing with 88 and 8 could get him a big pay day down the road and the best way to get it is to work his ass off and stay on that line. They were awesome at times tonight.
Kane is one of the finest hockey players on planet earth and is earning his huge salary...every (frank)ing penny of it. |

I know the three of them worked out together this summer. It showed tonight.
I get the impression Hartman has had a bit of an attitude. Nothing major, but some disgruntledness. I hope he puts that behind him or uses it to do as you say and works his ass off. The team needs that. |

Yep. That line could become special. Imagine if Schmaltz could be even kinda poopty on faceoffs, say over 40%, even low 40 instead of just dreadful..... then you have a myriad of options when AA gets healthy. Kampf, I think is a capable player and I want to see how he progresses...tonight he was great.

I like Burish as a commentator. He brings some enthusiasm and color to the role. Fresh air in a role that was growing stale. But I, too, had issues with his wardrobe. I welcome the look with the broadcasters being tieless tonight....personally think the tie works for my doctors but unnecessary on sports commentators. Back to Burish....thing he needs someone to help him dress and coordinate. |

Just got off the sofa and almost tripped over Driasaitl’s jock strap that he lost on Kane’s move to the net! That was one sweeeeeeet move! |
