I’d split up Toews and Saad, I don’t see the point I’m keeping two struggling players together.
I know this is a stretch but I’d like to see Hayden get a shot at 2C between Schmaltz and Kane. Nobody has worked harder than Hayden so it would be a nice reward. Plus it could be a low risk experiment that pays dividends.
I’d also keep Hartman with Toews and maybe with DeBrincat. - DarthKane
Debrincat Toews Hartman
Hayden Schmaltz Kane
Panik Kampf Saad
Hino Wingels X
Maybe time for Saad to play down in the line up until he gets it going. |

Powers:
Hearing Panik and Hinostroza are likely back in the Blackhawks lineup tonight. Both were healthy scratches yesterday. |

As they should be, time to sit Sharp. |

Sharp and ???
I would be shocked if its Hartman or Hayden who both had strong games.
Bouma would be my guess to sit with Sharp. |

Jeff Glass, 32 years old, will make his NHL debut tonight.
Hinostroza, Panik and Franson back in. Schmaltz at center. "Lots of lineup changes," Q said.
Anisimov timetable uncertain, but Q doesn't think it'll be "too long." |

Per Lazerus:
Q will reunite Saad-Toews-Panik tonight. "I think there’s enough there that they should at least get some zone time and get some opportunities off of that. And hopefully we get some production." |

I'm placing my bet now: at least 2 hooking penalties on #19 as he tries to keep up with McJesus. |

I’m betting DeBrincat-Schmaltz-Kane line gets that assignment. |

Just watched replay of some of last night's game vs Vancouver because of work. What a embarrassment loss 5-1 go out without a whisper. Murphy who's been playing great gets boarded hard core and bouma decides to tickle him. Great enforcing all of that 4th line are suppose to be enforcer by committee crap its not like it was gino odjick they had to go after. Wingles and sharp were both on the ice and stood pay. Hayden play has also fallen up. The oilers who probably have the toughest lineup must be licking there chips getting to face this soft and defensively challenged lineup. And they also get a 32 year old journeyman goaltender. |

This team is done taking tests. It's time to drop out of school and tank for the first overall pick.
McLellan is going to throw McDavid out there every time Seabs is on the ice and it will be like watching the Globetrotters against the Generals. |

try....try...again...what choice does he have...that statement is so revealing; "at least get some zone time"....this is your number 1 line...talk about low expectations |

Sharp, Rutta and Forsling are the scratches tonight. Hartman draws LW duties with Schmaltz and Kane. The third line will be DeBrincat-Kampf-Hinostroza, that could be an interesting trio. |

Q mixing it up. Sitting Forsling and Rutta is a message. Playing Franson against one of the faster teams is an interesting choice though. |

I had an interesting conversation with Jonathan Toews before the game about the state of the team and the state of his game. Look for a story sometime tomorrow for Sunday's paper. |

Sitting the teams best skating D-men because he’s had a rough stretch? Against the fast Oilers squad? Forsling needs to play and learn how to get through rough stretches. Unless he’s hurts he should be in the lineup every night.
Franson in? Why? |
