Agreed, but I love the plays that Taylor makes with his legs. There is not another qb in this league that does what he does. The problem is his passing accuracy. Let's find that qb this offseason.

Idk what happens behind closed doors,
but that type of talk seems reserved for guys like Eichel, McDavid, etc

Mittelstadt isn’t on that level

I think the conversation of where they fit in the organization takes place with every player, but especially with an NCAA player, since they lose their eligibility. They can't come to camp, they don't get the same 9 games. If they don't see him in the NHL next season, he has every right to prefer to stay in school.

The throws the slant to Tolbert
Throws the ball away earlier on 4th & goal instead of goosing it up to someone to give them a chance

Those were just things that blatantly stuck out last game

Most guys play there

Some do, yes.

Risto has actually improved in some areas there.

OEL’s are better for the most part. He’s 2nd in CF among regulars on AZ. Risto is 8th on the Sabres among regulars.

The problem is our blue line is so bad, and Risto can’t separate himself from them in some areas.

AZ has a decent blue line, and OEL leads them or is top 2 in most categories.

I’m calling it Casey with the winner...

We'll see. Bots is also a first round pick who spent 4 years in college, and he likes players developing there as well. I'll simply predict that if he signs, he'll start the season in Buffalo.
