Kudos to super scout Grant McCagg for being fired up for all the moves made in the summer. Basically telling everyone they were dumb for questioning Bergevin's moves. I'm sure something more was planned for the 8million in space though. Good thing for Habs fans is that he didn't tie up any stupid money long term in anyone with that extra space. |

On the bright side, once you get to the apathy stage, the losing is much easier to take..... |

They lose the trade but at least they didn't end up with nothing.

Where MB failed (or at least, one of them) is that he expected to have both Radulov and Markov around when he made the trade. He should have made sure that was the case before making the trade...
It is not a bad trade, really, but I would have hung on to Sergachev, knowing that Radu and Markov are not here, in the hopes of getting a center down the road. |
