Where’s everyone who gave me sh!t when I said the Bills had a good shot at the playoffs a few weeks ago?!
Just gotta “trust the process”
And cheer for Cinci, Oakland & Jax!
Hahaha
In all seriousness...
I originally thought our over/under would be 6 wins
Considering how totally sucky Tyrod has been for the most part,
this defense has taken a HUGE LEAP
Sure, we still have holes to fill
But if we can draft or sign a legit QB this year, I think it bodes quite well for us to at least be a playoff challenger from now on
Anyways...
LET’S GO BUFFALO!!! - jdfitz77
Let’s go Buffalo is right!
I’ll take my medicine, as I was one who was laughing at the prospect when they were getting blown out. Kudos to McDermott and company for keeping the right focus.
That said, I am going to get really pissed if we lose this game. Root my eyes if they win and get eliminated anyway, chalking it up to Buffaluck.
In either scenario I then wonder what was the use of “running to 9th” to use the hockey analogy... a top 10 draft pick would help a lot longer term.
But again, GO BILLS! |

Hey... I’m just saying there’s a chance!
I still think we should’ve tanked...
but if we can sign Keenum or Cousins,
and use all those draft picks to fill holes,
this team could get pretty legit pretty quick - jdfitz77
Draft a QB have him develop for a year
A veteran QB of Bradford, Keenum, or Alex Smith would be good short term
Cousins is going to want a long term deal and he is not worth the money he is going to get IMO.
Trade Tyrod to Denver at the draft for pick (hoping for a 3rd would probably get a 4th)
I like Tyrod but if Dennison is still here Tyrod is not a good fit for his system |

Tennyson and Moulson, yes. I don’t get the Griffith hate. He’s a 13th forward who was played on our 4th line and eventually waived. I don’t think he ever actually hurt us - sbroads24
He has never really played in the nhl consistently
Cleared waivers with a minimum $ contract
No takers
I would have him on my team to win the top of the draft , not so much to win hockey games.
The other dude cristo, him too.
Maybe jbotts offered these guys x amount of nhl games to come and play in rochester vs. Other ahl teams had to offer.
Maybe we'll see if this theory is true when the trade deadline hits and kevin porter is up with the big club.

Depends on the potential return in a trade for me.
If I can get a 1st plus a decent defense prospect, might help more long term. - sbroads24

im mostly thinking about a potential move. Like if someone was willing to take on that contract, i wouldn't hesitate thinking about whether he could bounce back. All id be thinking is this is a lot of money for someone in his 30s that we can move. - Sabresfan-365
Yeah, that’s totally fair
And it might be possible too with the Cap going up so much
Call up the Oilers, they’re stupid |

I'd move Kane for a first and a defense prospect (2nd pairing type guy)
I would also do almost anything possible to get another top 5 pick this year (minus moving Jack).
Pray for Dahlin and Tkachuk

I was just looking at the schedules coming up & how we had tie breakers against a lot of our competition
I was saying that a team will likely get in at 9-7, maybe 8-8
That SD game hurt
U all know my feelings on Tyrod, but even I said it was stupid to start Peterman
Maybe we lose that game anyways,
but it was still a dumb move
But yeah...
let’s just win today & see what happens
9-7 is MONUMENTALLY SUCCESSFUL in my opinion for this season
I had them at 5 wins
And even if they go 8-8,
with how brutal the offense (esp passing) has been at times this year...
that’s pretty damn good
Think about this defense once we have an offense that can consistently score & drive the ball down field at least
Playing with the lead makes a huge difference
And if we can add another couple good players with our draft picks...
we could have a top10 or better defense,
and stay near the top with takeaways
Headed in the right direction for sure
Just need to find that franchise QB |

I agree , 2 top 5's would be sweet.
Not trading mitts either.
What else can we move to get another 1st?
Risto or guhle?
Which ever team we would trade with would be looking for good young players.
That eliminates most of our roster |

The defense needs almost as much help as the offense
The run defense and pass rushing has been almost non existent
and yet here they are with a shot at the playoffs in week 17...
Go Bills
