when is the last time anyone recalls 19 with a solid wrap around attempt? wasnt that a given back in the day when 19 had game?
- glennjpawlak22

When was the last time ANYONE had one?

Goalies (and helpers on defense) have caught on to that move, I think - and goalies are so long that they can get their skates to the "other" post too quickly for that move to work unless the goalie has lost his net on the far side.

It was, but it never worked and I hated it. Though now I'd like to even see him in position for one

It also lost its luster when the NHL moved the goal line to create more room behind the net.

i still think its a good play, creates weird rebounds in crease - that is if your team has net front presence.

So our 4th string goalie is about to be our savior, not
playing Forsberg is another Q mistake.

While Rutta and Kempny were part of the reason the PK
started well the more Kempny and Rutta sit the worse
our PK gets, so playing Franson for his PP skill over
44-6 for PK skill is what makes us sitting in the basement
in our division

yes we have games in hand but our record appears to show
we aren't a lock to win those games in hand.

Hopefully I'm wrong

I propose that the the child's middle name be either "Turk", "Stash" or "Northland".

Having never played hockey, I have a question...how do you get in the shooting lane to block a shot, and not screen the goalie?

Hawks the better team through 1, but still tied 1-1. Murphy looking very solid as well as Osterle. Line 1,2 and 4 look very good. Line 3 is meh.

Sorry but I'd still rather have Panic out there instead of Sharp. They have to find a way to ignite Panik. His size ,speed and
grit is needed over Sharp's lack of everything. The guy was dynamic last year and our HOF coach should find a way to get through to him. I don't know...can't figure that out. Maybe he's hurt too.....that seems to be the common excuse for all these lackluster players.

What was he supposed to do, step aside and let the shooter move in even closer?

The goal would never have happened if Hartman puts the puck into the corner in the O zone instead of turning it over. #38 makes far too many mistakes like that.

Top two lines were sure creative and dangerous. Lots of passes to the slot tonight so far.
