KB has sick talent
is it coaching
is it tyrod
or injury? - homiedclown
Dude clearly can't run. It's 90% injury. |

I'll judge him based on what he does with this draft. I'm looking at the draft order, and I could see an argument for 5 of the top 7 or 8 teams to take a QB. No draft is the same, but if it's a 2004 type scenario where Rivers, Roethlisberger and Manning go in the top 5, and the Bills pick Losman at 22, he might be better off waiting til next year to take a QB.
Obviously no one wants to hear that, but I'm thinking maybe Beane should trade both firsts this year for firsts next year and use 3 firsts next year to select whoever you want. If he can't move up and get a QB early, there no sense taking one before the 3rd or fourth round imo - jcragcrumple

He ran a 4.53 and 4.61 40 which is good speed for a 6'5 guy, but he has 0 quickness which is why he can't seperate |

Yeah and then J.P at 22. The only other QB of note taken afterward was Matt Shaub, so I guess the Bills should have just not taken a QB.
Same with the year we took EJ. We didn't take the wrong QB, there just wasn't a good one.
So two lessons I guess
Don't take a QB just to take one
And don't take a QB with initials instead of a name |

He didn't acquire the extra picks to draft linebackers. He will give up the 2 firsts and next years first for the fourth overall and draft a qb. |

I'm talking about now. He's got a torn meniscus. I've had that, it's not painful at all as long as that's all it is, but depending on how much is torn and the type of tear it can be tough to even walk because the cartilage gets jammed into places it's not supposed to be and it interferes with the normal mechanics. I had a hard time just bending my leg because of the way it tore and the amount. He probably won't tear it any worse, but he's hobbled. |

And who is a sure fire qb at 4 that’s worth 3 first round picks? Have a had time thinking we give up that much. |

Its the draft, no qb is "sure fire" but, without a franchise qb there is no chance to win a super bowl. if we have the picks this year have to use them.

Of the last 16 Super Bowls, there's only 16 QB's who've played in them and there was only 2 Super Bowls where it didn't include Roethlisberger, Brady, Warner or Peyton Manning.
You don't just need a franchise QB. You need a legit 1st ballot Hall of Famer.
That Raiders/Buccaneers Super Bowl is the only anomaly but Joe Flacco is a franchise QB for sure and will probably get into the HoF no problem, especially if he plays in another SB (doubtful).
But the Raiders/Bucs game and the first Ravens SB are proof that you don't ALWAYS need a franchise QB. But what is this, a 7% chance of winning a Super Bowl without one?
Hey, the Bills had a 3% chance of making the playoffs last week. I like those odds. |

Huge stretch.
I don't know where this 3% chance of making the playoffs is coming from. It was 17%. Still not good odds, but way better than 3%. |

I don't think he's HoF worthy, but they love their QB's in this pass-happy era, so who knows.
But Flacco is a franchise QB, there is no denying that. It's not a stretch at all. He's one rung below Rodgers and one rung above Matt Ryan.
To say Flacco isn't a franchise QB is silly. |

Depends on definition of “Franchise QB”
He’s in no way a top 10 QB right now |

I made the point that you won’t need a franchise QB once these guys retire. The Super Bowls have been dominated by a handful of hall of fame talent all at once, the like we prob won’t see ever again at one time.
The rest of the QBs in the league suck.
Prescott, Winston, newton, Ryan, goff, luck, Carr, mariota. One of them will prob win a super bowl but honestly they they are all nothing special. Better then Tyrod yes, but all are inconsistent.
Only good QB I see coming up is Wentz and who knows how ACL may effect him.
