I’ll continue to say this is more on chiarelli, but yeah, the almost historically bad special teams should have Todd and crew on the verge of unemployment. The only issue I have with that is it’s kind of a get out of jail free card for pc.

Yeah, I wonder where those went for the Oilers. We're bottom of the league in PP opportunities. I'm not gonna claim full-conspiracy, but any team with Connor McDavid should be nowhere NEAR the bottom- in pretty much ANY capacity.

But it gets rid of his one get out of jail free card. That means he's one step closer to unemployment, too! It's rare for a team to fire their GM before firing their coaches.

Keefe has been coaching the Marlies to successful results for 3 years now and was staffed under that Dubas guy that was a spearhead of possession analytics' growth in junior hockey. If Dubas was available, I'd also be all for grabbing him to replace Chiarelli, but I doubt Toronto would let him leave.

They basically play every night just spotting the other team a pp goal or two.

Edm problems right now is not the head coach!!! It's maroon playing way over his head last year. Then coming back to earth this year. Kassian being his normal meathead self!! Draisaitl putting in an effort when he wants to!! Injuries on D. And a goalie who last year played incredible. This year just good.
