Besides a couple of games Filppula has been less than average. I really liked it when they got him, but he seems slow this season. He gets to the puck but he cant make a play to help.

They should really fire a vet into the sun that no one thinks they will fire into the sun.

Not sure if you're kidding but the PK has changed personnel-defenseman, forwards and goaltenders-multiple times over the past 3 years and still remains putrid. The problem there is not personnel

This assumes that all of the personnel available was better than any of the other. Not really solid thinking there that it eliminates personnel as part of the issue.

Would you guys trade Simmonds to OTT for Logan Brown? There would be more to the deal but Not sure where he ranks in their prospect pool. if we trade Simmonds to a team who’s 1st is I guess too high, I’m looking for a great prospect to add for the future

Yeah, but the latter aren't really guys you want in that LW4 spot. I still think, if Lindblom recent run continues and if Weal doesn't pick up (goal on Tuesday aside), you could see Weal return to the scratch list, Weise to the 4th line and Lindblom tried with Filppula and Voracek; moving Raffl to the Patrick line.

Ottawa apparently already has an offer of picks/prospects for Hoffman, but aren't ready to pull the trigger on a deal like that yet.
