so you think ghoul getting called up is to address the secondary scoring? - rinaldo
Dont bother.
The Flyers could give 5 million to charity and the Clown would complain that it wasnt 10 million. |

As a fan I just want different. If Ghoul sparks the team a little. I am fine with it. That would be different.
In the grand scheme of the Flyers future I think he has a very small role long term. |

This is deck chairs on the Titanic level.
If they really wanted to change things there are better moves. But the Flyers knew going into this year they weren't contending so moves like this are what you get now. Trade deadline you will see the moves that really affect this roster. |

Exactly. Why bother when you have a team that doesn't bother competing half of the time. And there are fools here who defend it. They are the clowns.

I don't agree with everything you wrote. I do agree about "why bother". I have skipped more games this year than in my previous 40 years total.
I get they are not as skilled as some teams. Does not mean I have to accept them not giving effort consistently or sometimes seemingly quitting altogether. |

Ghoul with the Gordie Howe Hat Trick tonight, you heard it here first folks!
We all need to admit, while not a popular pick, the fact that he is gonning to play an NHL game is impressive. |

Not really...I think everyone understands at this point the question is more like..."why don't the Flyers think he is ready to be called up?" - YuenglingJagr
I don't think everybody does. The correct wording for your response would be" The Flyers don't know what they're doing, Lindblom is obviously ready, why won't they call him up".

I think it simply comes down to the Flyers are looking for a player who might be able to provide a little bit of an emotional spark to the team. I don't think they see him as making any kind of a major impact. They aren't going to let the current state of the team change the development path of any young player they see as a major piece of the future.

that answer is obvious too...because they are super conservative and are trying to pretend Lindblom will become a different player if he spends enough time in the AHL |

Lindblom IMO isn't the savior of 2017/2018 he can continue to grow confidence on a winning team in the AHL. I do believe we see him regardless this season however I'm cool with seeing someone else get a shot while we wait for the swede. |

They are conservative, and Hextall is on record as saying so. Your comment that they are pretending also insinuates that they don't know what they're doing. Here is what is most obvious and it seems as though you aren't considering in your expertise is what is most important for the team, adding Lindblom to the roster right now, or developing him to be the best player he can be. I can't tell you that leaving him in the AHL is the best thing to accomplish that now but the point is that neither can you or anyone else say that it's not the best thing for the player now. |
