lol...I think you've been out in the cold too long - Scoob
Could be haha.
Not completely serious, and you know I love you Scoob but it’s the diehards now that support them no matter what (financially anyway) - that to me are part of the problem.
This really is Leafs 2.0 - pre Shanahan. |

I have no idea why Alt wasnt kept, he played well, skated well and used his size, which we completely lack on the D - wcorvette
Hagg and Sanheim have size. |

I will never understand why skilled players cannot be used on the 4th line - PhillySportsGuy
lack of depth perhaps and the salary cap maybe? I mean, 4 lines of top 6 players has to be costly. |

If Goulbourne on the 4th line means Lehtera is scratched I am all for it. I haven't read back yet but I can just imagine the comments. Per Tony Androcktis, who covers the Phantoms, Goulbourne has taken 3 minor penalties in 34 games and has drawn 10 Power plays. we shall see what he brings. - nastyflyergirl
agree, and maybe it makes some other guys think their job isn't safe. i'm a fan of trying some younger guys out. |

Any ill will from me shifts to the fans who will go to the games to support this poop.
No offense really if that is anyone on here, but those are the real contributors to the ineptitude. - flyer_nutter

Your premise means that ownership only cares about money and not winning. I do not agree with that. |

Hagg and Sanheim have size. - Feanor
hagg 6 2, Alt 6 4, SanHeim 6 4 but doesnt use his size, Hagg does. The Flyers are way to soft on the back end. Sit McD and put Alt in. |

Hagg being immune from getting scratched makes no sense. Sanheim-MacDonald would be a better balanced pairing. |

I just don't know any better. I do not blindly defend them. However, they are still my team. I have missed quite a few games this year. Which I have never done before. I even forgot they were playing a few times.
Just not sure how you quit your team completely. |

After the most egregious error I’ve seen a d man make in awhile piggybacking off of multiple poor games from Hagg. He remains - Just5
I agree. I would be sitting Hagg out right now to give him a breather and reinserting Sanheim. |

When Goulbourne scores his second goal of the game, I will position myself behind the opposing net so that it will be visible on his slo mo replay of his hat trick. |

I also think he brings more speed along with the grit back to the 4th line. When the season stated the 4th line provided energy and chances with their skating and speed.
Once Raffl was moved up then that line has been a mish mash unit and haven't gotten back to that speed game.
I think they are hoping Goulbourne can add to that line like it was in the beginning of the season. I am not saying its a perfect move but i think that's the reason for it. |

Truthfully calling up Ghoul is just very old school Flyers thinking. Predictable in a way.
Sitting Sanheim is the real kicker. That’s just sad really. |
