No but everyone was saying that Nick baptiste would be this amazing player with jack because he played with McDavid

And Justin Bailey because he’s buffalo born = Superstar

- GERBE!!!75PTS

Once we trade Kane and Pouliot and maybe Girgs and Larsson, we'll get a look at

Smith-Eichel-Baptiste
Nylander-ROR-Reinhart
Bailey-Erod-Pominville
don't care-don't care-don't care

Then it'll be easier to make some moves

only buffalo fans

1. Nylander is tied for 3rd in scoring for the tournament, god he stinks

2. Tkachuk is tied for 3rd in scoring for the tournament, god I really hope we get him

- homiedclown

You can't go only by his stats. the only thing we can be 100% sure on is that he was directly responsible for the 1 goal he has scored this tournament. Other than that he has done almost literally nothing except move the puck on the PP.

When you watch the effect middelstatd has on the game its night and day from nylander

Yeah, realistically, we'll probably get some warm bodies back in trades and we'll only get a look at 1 or 2 at a time though. If Roch can lock up a playoff spot, maybe they'll bring up all of em to play some garbage time at the end of the year with the Sabres.

Baptiste has been good with Eichel. Smith is unknown. That's a line i'm dying to see

Casey is getting more adjusted by playing in college it’s getting them ready for the next step imo

Nylander is just going to take longer to develop because he chose Rochester over playing overseas And let’s not forget he was injured half the year this year he still probably getting his groove back

Lots of players take longer to develop and click Ryan Johansen, Mark Scheifele , And let’s not forget

Marchessault That dude looks like he was going to be in the AHL for life Now he’s a stud from proper development

- GERBE!!!75PTS

Now he's a stud from proper development? Isn't you who said that the AHL is not where you send someone to develop? Also, who was it that said that you are what you are and you can't improve your game playing in the AHL? I would say this is the perfect example of a person needing time to learn the pro game, and that bouncing back and forth for 5 years actually helped the player become who he is today (and last year.)

I think we'll see an announcement about the new Bills stadium this offseason. I'm sure the Pegulas wanted to wait for a playoff berth before asking for money

- jcragcrumple

Highly doubtful since Pegula just announced the upgrades that he is paying for out of pocket.

I'm not so sure

They are sinking money (their own) into the Ralph this offseason

I really don't think a stadium is huge on their priority at this point.

I bet we don't see anything of significance announced on the stadium front for another 3 years.

Also, with 30g 21a in 75 games last year and on pace for close to 40g 50a this year, how does Marchessault's 6 year $30m contract for a 27 y/o winger effect other contracts coming up (Kane)?

Even with those upgrades, it will take a minimum of 5 years realistically from planning phase to completion of a new stadium. If they want to be playing in a new place by 2023, i think they'll need to finalize the location this year.

That would still line up with doing upgrades for this year, because a new round will be needed in 5 years

it would also make New Era field 50 years old

too much being pulled from Rochester. GMJB will not screw up the winning culture he's building there. A few guys might get called up for looks, but most will stay down. The Sabres will fill the roster with scrubs post trade deadline.

It is pretty good and should be posted again. I actually have an Air Force hockey jersey. I may have to start wearing it more.
