I'm more Forrest. Jenny has always been a stupid female dog to me and any day now she's gonna dump off an AIDS baby on me and go die. - BeadyEyedDouche
With Filip Forsberg out for 4-6 weeks, would Nashville consider trading for Kane? I think that after watching last year's finals, it would seem Kane would be a good addition to a team that could not score against Pittsburgh (zero goals the last two games.) I am not too familiar with their prospects, but maybe Jack Dougherty or Alexandre Carrier could be good pieces to try to get in any trade that would happen. - adambuffalo
Why? It's not like they're in danger of missing the playoffs and it's a 6 week injury. It makes no sense to make a trade because of that.
you still didn't remember one of nylanders points...I gave you three of mittelstadts without even blinking...
kinda twisted my words by leaving out the most important part--'relevant points'...especially from a player who's playing in his third wjc - Michael Pachla
Yeah, but to be fair Mittelstadt's been getting media all over the place, even his assists. Part of it is coverage too, seeing a play 10 times opposed to seeing another one once or twice regardless of how good it was is going to make an impact.
He wants to stay here I was told, he's not the problem but is he the solution ? - SABRES 89
Solution being Cup? Possible, sure, Antti Niemi has a Cup, hell Michael Leighton took his team to the Cup. All he needs to do is get hot, and when he's hot he's as good as anyone.
There are more pressing issues to deal with first. Like having more than 3 defensemen.

Team Sweden is getting plenty of coverage. They have the #1 pick on their team. Mittelstadt is getting a lot of attention because he looks good.

Mittelstadt is clearly better, but when you're bombarded with his plays and everyone fawning over him it's going to stick in your head. - Wetbandit1
Which play deserves more coverage.
Swinging the puck around on the PP
or
Carrying the puck down the ice on an individual effort, making a great pass or taking a great shot.
(i didnt choose the obvious play of the tourney for fairness.)
If Nylander's play warranted the spotlight it would get it. Hes a buffalo pick playing in buffalo.
