Honestly they do not play for MM...i see a much better team when Jarry is in there. I don't know but this team may have been let down a little too much by MM this year. It happens and he can right the ship...but he has to steal some games here to regain the trust of his team.

Oh man everyone NEEDS TO get over goddamn MAF already. That wasn’t even a difficult choice. |

If I turn this game off now, I can sneak in another episode of Twin Peaks before bed. Later, guys! - Victoro311
I hope it’s the 90’s twin peaks and not that piece of $hit they put out last year? Episode after episode where nothing happens only to have the dumbest ending of all time. |

Yeah when the Hawks cap dumped Bickel 2 years ago the cost was TT. |

I'm putting out there right now, Tampa isn't coming out of the east - lucky to make the conference final. - Aussiepenguin
Tampa has to play Toronto and they match up well against each other. That series will be a war. God I hate the Leafs. |

It sucks. But I guess Black Mirror is like pizza. Even when its bad its still pretty good.
I legit enjoyed USS Callister and Hang the DJ, but they wouldn't have been close to the best episode in any other season. I'd probably rank them:
San Junipero
White Christmas
Playtest
Shut Up and Dance
Entire History of You
White Bear
National Anthem
Nosedive
Hang the DJ
USS Callister
Hated in the Nation
Fifteen Million Merrits
Men Against Fire
Black Museum
Crocodile
The Waldo Moment
Meathead
Be Right Back
Arkangel
Two in this season are in my bottom 3 and four of them are in my bottom 6. - Victoro311
The Star Trek one was good. So was the museum one. |

Didnt he sign around the same time as Toews for the same money and term? I’m pretty sure but googling every little thing is for lame people. |

As a Sixers fan, I'm sick and tired of you chuckleheads dumping on "Trust the Process".

That’s the motto of the 26–10 Raptors. DeRozan learned how to shoot 3’s and about the same age Kobe was when he learned. He’s a legit MVP candidate now. |

Based off guys who are currently UFA's next year that Pitt could realistically get:
Kane (7M?)-Sid-Sheary
Guentzel-Malkin-Sprong
Kessel-Bozak(3? 3.5?)-Rust
Simon-Sheahan-Jannik Hansen(1M?)
D and goalies remain unchanged. I would say that's a cup contender on paper and it doesn't require giving up any futures. But, I'd rather get Girgs and Kane to audition right now. Long-term, I'd much rather have Kane for 1M or 1.5M more than Horny to kind of bridge the gap between our 30-32 year olds and our early 20's guys
Maybe Buffalo doesn't want Hornqvist so maybe there's a 3 way trade partner out there (St.Louis to replace Schwartz who's out long-term? Maybe they give up a 1st+) where Buffalo gets picks, Hagelin and maybe a prospect from the third team, where Pitt gives up Hornqvist, a 1st rounder, and Hagelin and receives Kane and possibly Girgensons - WSCTeton17
There is no reason to trade a first round pick from this year. We have to stop trading first round picks all-together. |

I wonder what the team did with their asses last night?
1,2,3,4.
Cause they sure got them handed to them. |

I don’t know who is going to give Bozak 5-6. He’s on pace for like 40 points playing on an offensive team. Even if it’s not Bozak, Cogliano then |

This team is not going to make the playoffs the playoffs this year. If by some small miracle they do manage to squeak in, they are not going far. There is no reason to mortgage the future as a chance to save this season. |

Pens have been a great counterpunching team for a long time. Problem is that the Canes don't punch. They drag you onto the mat and choke you out. |

You didn't like Arkangel?! I liked it because I don't think we are far off from something like that being possible and every parent possible taking advantage of it. Acting wise, I feel like Black Mirror has biiiiiiig differences in acting ability from episode to episode, but I liked the story. I definitely liked USS Callister. But I definitely agree with your top 3. San Juniper is amazing and White Christmas was the first episode I had ever seen. Playtest is awesome from a gaming standpoint. |

Pens will be back at some point. Think Sid, Geno et al. have one more run in them, but it'll take some retooling this summer to get them there. |

Decisions will need to made, but we as Pens fans can't complain. 3 Cups since 09 is a successful run. I do think they may have one more run in them, but to me the Canes, Blue Jackets, and Leafs are gonna be beasts of the East for the future.

Arkangel was a good concept for Black Mirror to play with but it was really, really pooptily done. There was no build up to the climax so the climax just felt like a huge shark jump. Jodi Foster really failed as a director on that one.
And yeah San Junipero and White Christmas are about tied but I give the nod to San Junipero. John Ham absolutely kills it in White Christmas. |

Yeah Those 2 were amazing. I agree, I think conceptually Arkangel was awesome. I'm not sure how I felt about the ending, like... daughter leaving after beating her mom down. I thought Crocodile was an interesting story with the memory reader. I'm not sure how I feel about them reading the mind of a (frank)ing hamster though. I was kind of disappointed in that one, I would have found it more interesting if she had gotten away with all of the atrocities she had committed and then had to live with even more destruction... kind of punishment in her own head kinda thing. That female dog did some gnarly poop. |

And last year knowing Letang was done for the year, weren’t we all saying the exact same thing? There’s for sure still a chance our guys can rebound. At some point they’re getting an entire week off. How much longer of a window do we have with our core, 3 Years? 4? I’m pretty sure Gretzky and Lemieux never won cups in their 30’s. If we hang onto our 1st this year, that player may or may not pan out and if they do they’ll be ready to help when- at the end of our window? So then we become like Detroit or Vancouver and draft in the middle repeatedly? Or we package it up and get players that help us now and in the future
If we had to dish out Horny, Hagelin, a 1st, a 2nd, and a prospect and in return we got Duclair (rumored to be had for a 2nd), Kane, and cost controlled Girgensons then I’d be happy with the deal.
So many of our draft picks haven’t panned out. We didn’t know the Perron pick was going to be Barzal but it got moved into being Hagelin who was a large part of winning 2 cups so we don’t complain about it |

Did you watch our team prior to our 15-16 cup run? Similar, if not worse.
Obviously a complete 180 is extremely unlikely, but it can be done. We've seen it happen before and thus are more inclined to believe that it can happen again.
I'm not waving the white flag just yet like some of these other guys. There are still 40 hockey games to be played. |

I think after 2 Stanley cups and 4 finals in the last decade if they crash and burn this season and get a high pick(and maybe more) in a very strong draft(fallen for Dahlen) it’s really not the worst thing in the world that could happen. Get them 5 months to rest and reload. It might be better in the long run. - dcoms77
That's the drum I've been beating. I think between Hornqvist and Cole they could have two picks in each of the first three rounds. That's huge in a deep draft like this. |
