He accused Hakstol of having a love affair with Hagg and listed it as his biggest issue with Hakstol as a coach. I have posted a number of times that I felt it was time for Hagg to sit some games. With that said both Hagg and Manning are better NHL defenseman right now than Sanheim is.

I am free to criticize Hak for his lineup decisions regardless if they are kids or vets. But i have never once accused Hak of purposely sitting the kids just because they are kids so please

i doubt that. I think Sanheim knows exactly why he is sitting and has been communicated with by the coaching staff. Fans keep wanting things to be consistent from player to play. Not the nature of the sport.

Then you have not played a lot of sports. I have played many sports most of my life and can assure you. When someone else sits over you and you watch that person a lot more close personally and see them struggle and no changes come. It makes you question absolutely.

Goulbourne hit directly led to the first goal. That was pretty cool.

Missed the 1st. Anything notable happen aside from the goals?

The Ghoul with 2 big hits on his 1st shift, the 2nd led to a turnover and a goal by Laughton. The Ghost/Provy pair had some strong shifts as did the Couturier line. Overall the Flyers played very well and kept the pressure on the Blues for most of the period.

It was nice to see them come out fired up right from the start of the game, hoping it becomes a trend.

Pretty amazing Gudas has not taken a penalty since coming back from suspension, and he is picking it up physically lately past few games.

Konecny with a fantastic shift there. Saved AMacs ass on that hit in the o-zone when AMac pinched and coughed up the puck.

I wonder if Hak has noticed that the opposing coach, whose team is slowly and obviously coming apart, called what is known as a "time out". This could give your team, which might be reeling, a chance to get back into the game.

But now he doesn't have it for a challenge that may or may not be coming later in the game.
