On a side note...ex-Hawk Nick Leddy is killing me in my office hockey pool. Zero points and -4 today. Last month he had 4 assists and went -15.

Honestly I think Seabrook took the summer off and at his age it was a huge mistake and he's embarrassed by it. Even in his interview lots of reflection on how and where his game is at and how he's not happy about it.

It doesn't help either that you have people in this organization that stroke their egos instead of calling them out and saying, you just aren't the player you use to be. Buddy Ryan was a bit of a nut but he always drove his players by his method of holding them accountable

I love trades as much as anybody, and probably more than most. But it is also true that sometimes the best way to improve the roster is for the guys on the current roster to get better. Both the "old guys" and the "young guys" could be noticeably improved next year. Add two or three upgrades and the Blackhawks could be "back" pretty quickly.

Over/under on goals scored by Keith this season.....2. I'm taking the under. Hawks could get lucky and grab a Top 4 pick if they are in the lottery pool. I think they had pretty low chances of getting #1 overall the year the won the Kaner lottery....Brady Tzchuck would be the perfect player with Kane and Schmaltz.

Edmonton is a one line team and a one player team if Mcllellan separates Draisaitl from 97. You think Connor is regretting that 8 year deal already?? IMO, Peter Chiarelli is the worst GM in the NHL the last decade. He ruined both Boston and Edmonton with asanine trades of Elite players like Seguin, Kessell and Hall.
