Yes but at least StanBo is paying a (barely) 3rd pair NHL Dman $7mil to tell Forsberg it's all going to be ok.....

It's good that Seabrook did that, but every leader on any hockey team since age 12 does that to the goalie when they let in a softie. Foley and Olcyk are so adverse to criticism of any of the core. No comment on the barely 4 minutes of TOI for Seabs in the first? Seabrook is a great leader, I don't doubt that for a second. But, he's just not good enough at hockey anymore.

This could be a great time for NHL, watching the NFL games, just garbage and these are playoff teams. NBA its really only 2 teams and we all know which team will repeat, and baseball doesn't mean anything until October, so....
- BetweenTheDots

I use to think when NFL had only 8 teams in post season they needed to add some teams in the post season, now seeing some of these "playoff "teams they need reduce the amount of teams that qualify.

That's why I said earlier in the blog to many people in this org not offering honest criticism to core players

Seabs two turnovers on that last shift....man he sucks.
This is what 7 millions look like?

Ive said it many times, as long as this team continues to invest 17.5 millions on JT and #7 this team is going nowhere.

Ya but he tapped Forsberg on the pads after a soft goal so he earned his paycheck tonight in Olcyk's eyes.

For the last week or so, I thought Seabrook had turned it around....he was paying and skating better.
But now hes reverted back to sucking.

Is this Smaltz brain dead or something?

Kane from the side boards to Smaltz in the slot
Then Smaltz to Kane in the corner
dead play on scoring chance

Then Smaltz on same sift gets puck in slot
Then throws it away

All on the same shift

Schmaltz has a habit of passing too much and shooting too little.

Vinnie has made a huge positive impact on the Toews line. They all seem to have more jump now. Great effort by all three of them on that goal, but especially 19 with the power move.

I was going to post the exact same thing. The kid is so talented but his pass or shoot decisions are terrible. If he starts shooting even HALF the slot chances he gets he'd easily score 30 every year. I don't get why you wouldn't rip that puck on net from there instead of forcing it to Kane who is on the goal line and covered....

I was calling for Hinostroza to get called up early in the season after seeing the Hawks needed an injection of speed. Turns out he has improved in almost all areas of his game. #48 is playing with a ton of confidence.

he might want to retire the no-look pass on the PP back toward the blue line with McDavid lurking. Other than that, he's been just what the doctor ordered.

My heart stops every time one of our guys tries a drop pass when Mcdavid is on the ice.
