You mean when he was in his final season of NCAA and was technically(and legally due to accepted a scholarship for that season) unable to play in the NHL. he then went on to post 4g1a in his first 9 games at the end of the season. Then proceeded to have more goals AND assists than Matthews the next season, with only about 7 months separating their births

last nights game was very entertaining. your young guys are very good and will only get better. if they build the forward corps around boeser and horvat properly you will guys will go far. that team play us very hard even with 1 d man down. which by the way i hope he gets better soon. makes my jaw hurt just thinking about that

i dont know man. boeser's shot and hand eye is pretty lethal. when he knocked that puck down (which at the time i thought was a high stick ) i was pretty impressed.

Boeser seems like the real deal. Horvat has been the topic of debate as to whether he's a true #1 C, but is a great piece to have, and Demko appears to be following the Schneider development path very well too.

Defense is the glaring weakness going forward, which unfortunately are not easy to acquire
