I’m not sure what, if anything would appeal to the Chiefs on our roster, nor what they could use. If he only has 1 year left, it can’t be astronomical, therefore I assume they could work it out.
I don’t know that we would need him for more than a year, depending on who they draft.
It isn’t out of the realm of possibility is all.

If 21 and 22 translates to 6 value, I could very well see it happening. Just depends on who is available at that slot.

There are a ton of teams who could use a top QB...but who really will go after one?
Bills have needed one for some 20sh years...and they took a swing how many times...3? Of teams viewed as needing a top QB, how many will actually pull the trigger in round 1? ... 4, 5? And they all won’t be the top 5 picks.

I think Smith is a possibility for sure
But it’s likely only for 1 year
Bc I just don’t think he’ll sign an extension if he thinks he’s gonna get replaced again

So in your scenario...
whatever QB we do draft better be ready to take over after just 1 season of grooming

I’ve seen a bunch that have 4 of the top6 being a QB
Rosen & Darnold, for sure
Then Mayfield to either Denver or NyJ
And either Allen or Jackson going to the other

Not saying it WILL happen
But if we want a particular guy,
the we will have to move into the top10 to make sure we get him
