Maatta is he the solution ? no but he's a good piece to add, better then what we got.

To be honest, I don't like either one but Dumoulin if i'm not mistaken per Rutherford, had to be included in the Staal deal from the Canes.

Ian Cole would be my guess
He played well in the playoffs last year
But besides that, he just seems like a pretty ordinary depth defenseman

And if Arizona takes Tyrod, that’s one less team looking for a QB

Makes sense
He strikes me as just a decent defenseman who would just fall into the group of guys we already have
I wouldn’t see him as a significant improvement

Maybe we can get one of their better defensemen if we agree to take Hagelin off their hands for the next 1.5yrs
