good point...cool thing about having botts in charge is that he knows what's in the system - Michael Pachla
Also a good point. |

Agree. Keenum was a product of what was around him. - RhinoFan
Most QBs are to a degree
And was he a product of what was around him...
or was he finally just able to blossom bc he was on a team with talent?
It’s only 1 year, so I could be wrong here
But I really like the way Keenum played this season
Reading defenses, making all the throws...
he seems legit to me
Not a huge sample size though,
so I get how ppl could disagree

Interesting. Twitter folks who cover the amerks seem to think still lots of holes in his D-game but if he's bringing it offensively.. |

Cool
Now if we can only get lucky for once & draft Dahlin
Then we could have a pretty darn good defense |

the big things about him when he was drafted was his athleticism and skating...been showing a lot of that in Rochester, from what I've read and through the highlights I've seen...been developing rather well

Sprong, Gustavsson & a 1st sounds like a reasonable trade for Kane
Although there’s no defenseman in that deal for us - jdfitz77
Sprong is approaching untouchable status. He will unlikely be traded for a pending UFA. And certainly not in addition to a 1st and Gustavsson
Perhaps a ROR could be a better trade chip for a guy like him |

I just think it's peculiar to call him up now. If Botts is all about that slow cooking for prospects, why half ass it? Why bring him to this cesspool of a hockey team now when he still has things to work on? |

He'll be sent back for the Amerks playoffs. Get 40 games in now in a zero-pressure environment, take what he learned back to the A calder cup playoffs and dominate, come in full-time next year. |

I don't think he's garbage, just that he looked "great" because of the team he was on. I worry if you got him in BUF he'd be another Fitz (pun intended harr harr).
I know very little about football other than the rules and the Bills players, but when I see a guy go from a pretty even TD/Int ratio, to a 22:7 ratio...I tend to get suspicious.
He did play on some pretty awful teams before, especially those lines, so maybe he's worth a second look. Just not excited by him if that's fair. |

I understand why others would t like Keenum as much as I do |

Cousins and you use the first 5 picks on DT, Edge Rusher, LB, Oline, WR |

cardinals asking what tyrod would cost them in a trade
also heard dennison will probably be coaching somewhere else next year - homiedclown
Tyrod and a 4th for a 2nd? I honestly have no idea what he's worth
Maybe the cardinals and Broncos will get in a bidding war |

Agreed
Cousins has NO weapons in Washington
No running game
His best WR is James Crowder...
DT, DE, LB, OL, WR, QB, RB, CB, OL
Free Agency is a month before the draft
If they can get Cousins no need to draft a QB in the first 3 rounds
If they get Alex Smith or a place holder draft a QB in the 2nd round if none of the guys are there in the 1st round by the time they pick.

maybe it was his confidence-level, something taylor was said to have mentioned...he wasn't far off from making the sabres a couple years ago and actually looked like he belonged for that three-game stint last season...
I think they did the right thing by starting him in Rochester and having him play big, all-purpose minutes allowing his confidence to grow along the way |

Because a game or two won't hurt the kid, I'll help get him ready for what's expected of him up in the show. And, GMJB still has to do something to make it look like he's trying to get this club to win some games. You can't put out on the ice what the Sabres have been, do nothing about it, and say you've been trying. |

Tyrod for a 3rd or 4th (I know I'm greedy)
Buh bye Dennison
This is a win win if it happens
Would give the Bills 10 draft picks in this draft
Would keep Arizona from drafting a QB in the first round (especially if they give up a 3rd rounder for him)
I am not a Dennison at all |
