Agreed
Cousins has NO weapons in Washington
No running game
His best WR is James Crowder...
DT, DE, LB, OL, WR, QB, RB, CB, OL
Free Agency is a month before the draft
If they can get Cousins no need to draft a QB in the first 3 rounds
If they get Alex Smith or a place holder draft a QB in the 2nd round if none of the guys are there in the 1st round by the time they pick. - Stripes77
Thank the heavens that some people on here understand this.
Cousins is a very good QB on a very mediocre, at best, football team. He has bad games, for sure, but management in Washington DC Football is amoung the worst in sports right now and I can't imagine it's an easy environment.
They already ran one QB out of town...
Tyrod Taylor is a very mediocre QB on a team with a good defense that had some growing pains mid-season, but our offense was absolutely putrid all season long and we can't keep blaming the offensive line every single season. At some point, the guy throwing the ball has to make the right play and Tyrod never seems to, despite his good-looking stats, he simply cannot march the team into the end-zone with any confidence or consistency. |

On the one hand, I feel like Taylor might be getting Dennison fired, on the other Dennison showed very little creativity apart from the Joe Webb wildcat in the first NE game |

Outside of the first 15 scripted plays both Dennison and Tyrod look lost the rest of the game
I would take Cousins here but I am not about to make him the highest paid QB in the league though.
Cousins would be the best QB talent wise this team has had since Kelly no question in my mind.
Give him a running game that the Bills have and draft a deep threat WR and get Zay Jones an offseason to work with Cousins to get on the same page and get him some confidence.
Benjamin healthy on contested balls
draft a deep threat
Jones in the slot
a healthy Clay
That on paper is the most talented team Cousins has ever had |

Cool
Now if we can only get lucky for once & draft Dahlin
Then we could have a pretty darn good defense - jdfitz77
Hope you guys get him. You're due |

To elaborate on the offensive line: How has an ageing LeSean McCoy, despite being a premier back, managed to put up Thurman Thomas-like numbers every season?
They're a serviceable unit, and our QB's have been skiddish for years. The vast majority of QB's can't transition to the NFL level, be it their athleticism, durability, "football I.Q.", no matter what, most people/athletes have flaws and QB is the most important position on the team.
It's a confidence thing with Tyrod. He doesn't have the confidence to force the pass and risk an interception, nor does he have confidence in his receivers to catch the ball.
You really think Julian Edleman and Danny Amendola are poop-all on any other team? It's a cliche but it's true, I'd be a friggin' 1,000-yard receiver if I had Tom Brady throwing the ball to me 17 times a game on short slants and posts. |

Throw him a 4-year deal for 80-million, take it or leave it, draft a proper understudy, cut Peterman and have the balls to sign a marquee QB for once without worrying about money is what I say. |

They aren't even that good. Especially this year.
Yards per attempt - 23rd
Yards per compl- 28th
Yards per game - 27th
TD's 25th
He isn't even average. He's a below average starter who just wasn't EJ Manuel.
Kyle Orton was better |

Tyrod for a 3rd or 4th (I know I'm greedy)
Buh bye Dennison
This is a win win if it happens
Would give the Bills 10 draft picks in this draft
Would keep Arizona from drafting a QB in the first round (especially if they give up a 3rd rounder for him)
I am not a Dennison at all - Stripes77

Ya he will want way more (and get it). Hell osweiler almost got that.
The cap is a serious issue for this team next year and have a lot of age at RB, OL and DT. |

There isn’t anyone still defending Tyrod...
is there?
We got to the playoffs in spite of him,
not BECAUSE of him
We need better, period
Funny how I got ripped by quite a few here bc I said this EXACT same thing before the season started
Now ya know |

Tyrod with Dennison was an awful mix
Tyrod from 2 years ago and this team is preparing for New England
But yes they need better to be considered a team on the rise |
|

seems as if you might be opposed to him...if you don't kill yourself chugging bleach, i'd be interested in why you feel that strongly - Michael Pachla
vanilla. boring. His ceiling is established. He's not the worst option and Slightly above average QB. He's played on teams where He's had the good "weapons", he's played on teams with good defenses and still finds a way to underwhelm at the end of the day. He's A Tyrod Taylor who can throw the ball. I don't want a game manager. I want a game breaker and we should be trying like hell to get one. He'll want a boatload of cash also. Not for a place holder, no thanks. I trust Beane will have a plan. We should be drafting 1st round QBs until we find that guy.

We're projected at $36 million under the cap next year, cut Taylor and we're $46 million under, trade Glenn and we're $49 million under |

I liked Tyrod his first uear here!
But instead of progressing, he took a step back last year
I could understand how some were still on the fence before this season
But now it’s pretty obvious we should move on
And yeah, Dennison needs to go
I was never a fan of his

I'm not a Tyrod fan, but holy smokes.... how about a wide receiver who can catch a ball occasionally? Tyrod can't make plenty of throws but in the odd chance he actually delivers a ball that say, hits your hands .... feel free to catch it because we know you won't get many other opportunities. |
