We post links to different sites all the time in here
No worries man

Some bloggers don't like it, and even though Pachla is super chill I still didn't want to step on his toes.

I liked Tyrod his first uear here!
But instead of progressing, he took a step back last year

I could understand how some were still on the fence before this season
But now it’s pretty obvious we should move on

And yeah, Dennison needs to go
I was never a fan of his

It feels good to see that it looks like this team finally has a coach and GM that are on the same page and share the same vision.

They got a stud in Tre'davious White while getting an extra 1st rounder out of it.

If they draft well again this is a playoff team on the rise which makes me smile.

Hey man, Tyrod had 14 TD passes this year. We’re all set at QB
- sbroads24

Yeah, because that's what I said.

Sorry if I don't want to pay Kirk "I can't win" Cousins $33M essentially. Which would leave the Bills with ~$25M in cap space to fill all the openings they have. That doesn't fill me with confidence unless you're going with all rookies. In which case why pay a veteran QB a poopload of money? Just draft a kid and run with him.

There isn’t anyone still defending Tyrod...
is there?

We got to the playoffs in spite of him,
not BECAUSE of him

We need better, period

Funny how I got ripped by quite a few here bc I said this EXACT same thing before the season started

Now ya know

- jdfitz77

Agree. Go big. Why are we limiting ourselves for game managers and retreads. Draft a guy and pray he is the next Roethlisberger, Manning, Brady, Ryan, Rogers, etc...... Look at the names of the guys who have won the last 25 or so Super Bowls... with the exception of Brad Johnson (great defense) and Dilfer (outstanding defense) the winners are all future hall of famers. Protip: You need that guy to win.

It’s all about the QB
Imo, most teams have roughly the same talent throughout the roster,
and the QB is what sets them apart

But I agree,
seems like we are headed in the right direction

We're projected at $36 million under the cap next year, cut Taylor and we're $46 million under, trade Glenn and we're $49 million under
- mattmoulson

I forgot Glenn was on IR

Yeah I would trade him. He doesn't seem to be healthy or buy in to McDermott's plan

I think they can get something for both Glenn and Tyrod.

$50 million in cap space is enough to get a QB and another starter in FA like they got in Hyde and Poyer and still be able to sign depth guys and some guys that need new contracts plus draft picks.

We’ve been failing at that for a while now
Different management now...
who I do have faith in...

But anyone we get in the 20s is gonna need some time to develop,
and is not even close to a sure thing

Cousins has thrown for an average of over 4,300yds & 27tds the last 3 years

No rookie is gonna do that (most likely)

And you’re worried about the Cap for 1 year
It’s better after that, right?

Cousins is a “good” nfl QB
(Not great)
But we are still in the playoffs right now if he was our QB

And we can still draft someone to develop behind him

Agreed

Cousins has NO weapons in Washington

No running game
His best WR is James Crowder...

DT, DE, LB, OL, WR, QB, RB, CB, OL

Free Agency is a month before the draft

If they can get Cousins no need to draft a QB in the first 3 rounds

If they get Alex Smith or a place holder draft a QB in the 2nd round if none of the guys are there in the 1st round by the time they pick.

- Stripes77

No weapons? Huh?

This year wasn't great, but last year when they won a whole 1.5 games more they had Garcon, a (mostly)healthy Jordan Reed, DeSean Jackson, Vernon Davis, Jamison Crowder(who's better than any Bills WR). And their running game was good. And they went 8-7-1. Cousins can't win. If we had no dead money from Tyrod and he wanted low 20's. Sure, sign me up, but paying almost $7M more than the current highest paid QB for a guy who can't win? (frank) that. I'd rather have 3,500 yard Keenum. He can win at least and he won't command the absurd salary that Cousins will.

Sure better, but it's still $5.5M and $3.5M for the 2 years after which is still like $30M for a guy who can't win. Keenum came in and grabbed the team by the scruff of their neck and turned a white guy into a god and pulled the team to a season no one thought possible when Bradford went down, hell even when Bradford was there no one thought they'd have that season.

I’d prefer Keenum too...
but Cousins threw for over 4,000yds again this season (3rd year in a row)
No running game
No Jordan Reed

He’s a good QB
We need a good QB

It’s that simple

With 1 extra forward, that affords 2 extra D on the active roster. With Antipin on IR, they need to make 1 move to play Guhle, short term. Longer term, it takes 2 moves. Is someone else injured? Are Falk and/or Georges on waivers? Is ERod going down (he's the only waiver exempt F)? Something else must be coming....

Last year every single bounce went our way. Not so much this year. Complicate that with some bone headed moves by management and, well, back to the same old spiel I guess.

- Wetbandit1

That’s the argument AGAINST Keenum though
You’re basically saying Minny is such a good team that any QB can win with them
(Bradford is mediocre)

Now I happen to like Keenum A LOT
But if he’s not available,
then Cousins is easily my next choice

Hall of Famer... nope
4,000 yard passer... yep
We need someone who can throw

And as I said before,
we can still draft/develop a QB behind him
