Yeah, probably. I've said all along I don't want to overpay Kane. If he's truly looking for $7M+, buh-bye. That would make him the 5th highest paid LW and 10th winger altogether. I like him a lot, but he is not the 10th best winger in the league. Marchand just signed for $6.125M. I think he left some money on the table, but Kane can't, with a straight face, really say he's worth more than Marchand. I'd go $6.25M MAYBE $6.5M as the absolute top dollar. And even that is probably higher than I'd want to go.

This year is a bit of a down year, usually like 8-10 guys have 30+. I'm not saying he has to do it year in, year out, but he's never done it. And when you're throwing for nigh on 5,000 yards. 30 TDs should be easily reachable. Maybe it was just bad luck, he did have 29, and they did have 17 rushing TDs that year and Cousins had 4, so maybe 1 or 2 were sneaks from the 1 after a long pass play.

Like I said before, the drought is over, next step is legit contenders, and with the money he will get with the space we have it's just not feasible. Wentz and Goff weren't seen as slam dunks and so far they've been very good, especially once Goff got away from the 7-9 king.

I would love a luck trade. That's a guy worth taking a chance on. If his shoulder isn't working , the bills could IR him and it not kill our cap for years to come.

Bills were rumored to be in on the Brees deal with Miami too.

Luck is a generational talent. Not sure why the colts would trade him, if he was healthy.
