Your Fact: Canucks have not had a NCAA player not sign with them before. Thanks, I really didn't think of it that way, I totally get it now thanks for the clarification.
I haven't died from smoking yet, so I keep smoking for the same reason.

Yes. Being involved in politics is for people who have no life. That is by far the most brilliant of all your very insightful posts. Thanks for sharing your wisdom

We'd need good assistant coaches if they ever make Salo the HC. He'd be injured all the time getting hit with pucks, tripping on rubber mats, doors with return springs etc...

They way you described the Malholtra signing was perfectly accurate.

- boonerbuck

do you mean the Sedin route? Co-coaches 2020-21

Aren't all your lineups speculation?

I call them projections.
I don’t call it logic 😂
I say what i say while others choose my words erroneously. Only need ask.

To really answer this question, we need to get into the science of genetics, politics and fantasy. It's complicated.

I'm serious! "Draftist" is not a word?

Explain...

Yup, I went through the directory once and posted the list, lots of coaches on there too. It wouldve been shorter to list those who werent previously Canucks
- WhiteLie

I remember that list, it was lengthy.
Certainly one of the things that should change moving forward.
Why not bring in someone from a winning background. I'm a long time Canuck fan and all I saw was a luxury box full of losers, a couple of game 7 losers but losers none the less. What about some young management from LA or Pittsburgh or Chicago?

It's true. The russians don't like us much. Hopefully Goldobin does ok and that starts to change.

To understand Draftist, first you have to understand that there are other realms of consciousness, man.

I even like Malholtra and what he brings, but I just really dont like how he ended up in the position that he did. He was fine as a part time specialist skill instructor, but after one season he was promoted into assistant coach?

we all speculate who should stay and who should go but we have no idea who made the brilliant decisions and who made the bad ones.

what we as fans can judge are the decisions and results. based on those, we can evaluate the job performance of the person we believe has the final say as to those decisions.

who has the final say here on the important decisions? obviously (imo) jb has final say at the draft but does he have final say on all important trades or the over all direction of the team? i'm not so sure. who does? i don't really know.

Pretty much sums it up.

I think Benning makes some. I think Aquilini makes some. I think Linden makes some. And there's times when it has looked like Fin has made some.

Because you can't sell a Canuck jersey with "Rob Blake" on the back.

Time will tell how well Blake does.
Inheriting some good players goes to Lombardis credit. See what Blake does with the head start like Bowman & Rutherford.

Seems like a no-brainer to me. The team, however, likes to focus on feel-good stories and connection to the community; bring back everyone's fan favourite and never fire them

But also Tampa thanks Detroit for letting them poach one of their all time beloved players to be their GM and bringing the franchise back to relevance

In all seriousness, I think lefty thinks that tanking is one(of many) strategy deployed by draftist. A draftist is someone who builds through the draft. SO, every GM in the NHL is a Draftist as are fans that think we should be build through the draft. BUT not all Draftists want to tank.

Because patrick stefan and nai lyakapov, so what's the point!

it's an open door policy at orcallini bay. there are no stupid questions or proposals.

in early 2017, an excited fin walked into francesco orcallini's office, talking breathlessly about a kid named... brock boeser.
