You editted. You know who is winning? Winnipeg? They seem to be doing just fine without him. Edm seems to be hurting with the best player in the world. And the canucks have won 2 in their last 15 with thr best rookie this year. One player doesnt determine how great a team can be, but he can certainly bring a team down and evander kane causes trouble everywhere he goes. - Codes1087

arrogant is not a synonym for selfish.
when multiple teammates from multiple teams call a teammate selfish, that means something. - RealityChecker

I agree. I'm going to look into this report on Falk, who is an AHL player and frankly should not be saying poop about poop and be glad he's cashing an NHL paycheck |

I'm feeling a bit cranky today, maybe it was the 5km walk into work this morning.
I almost feel up to a go round, how are you today? - Makita
Lol, hopefully your buddies from the other thread stay away today. |

that's what you want in a good team: players too afraid to call out bad behaviour.
that's the message you should be sending: as long as you score, do whatever you want. you 3rd and 4th liners should STFU. |

I just don't think it's Biega's place, you know what I mean? If it comes from someone in the dressing room with some actual experience and relevance it means something. When Byfuglien did it, it meant something and should have meant something to him. For example |

I'm guessing some teams might pay this much or more for him just as a rental. I definitely hope we do not. |

i understand what you mean and to a certain extent agree.... however, given the player in question and his history, i'll give falk the benefit of the doubt rather than give it to kane. just my $.02. |

Getting a Laine helps. That kid showed how arrogant he is before he was even drafted. |

Really? Why shouldn't one player call out another? I never realised there is a class structure where one player from a 'lesser' league is not allowed to address a player of a 'superior' league.
What a crock of sh*t, Neem.

it's an edge or a line. You need to have swagger and confidence to succeed at this level, but too much and the other guys in the room are like "come on man" . He's an interesting player, to say the least. |

Well there is. If you don't think hockey is classest, than I'm guessing you didn't play much. There is a pecking order, and you don't poop talk star players when you're a fringe guy, you go to your captain and say "what the (frank) is that" or you shut up. It's not a democracy, there's a reason why some of the guys wear letters. |

You really think Trevor wants to bring that 'attitude' into a young team?
I don't. I don't see Kane as a Linden or Benning sort of player. I would be very surprised if they made a substantial offer to him. Shocked, actually. |

They have preached character. I would have to agree with this, even if I do think Kane is ultimately the type of player we need. But, if they both get fired... |

well i'm guessing faulk has played a little bit and felt comfortable speaking up against a star player having a good season.
that, in of itself, should speak volumes. a fringe player would know better than to call out a star let alone a popular player unless he knew (felt) that the other guys on the team would have his back. |

You have to understand that a lot of these guys get told their whole lives how good they are, better than everyone else. Have stuff handed to them. It is hard to break that when you become and adult sometimes. |

I was just going to say. If a Ahl calibre player has the gall to call out one of the teams highest producing forwards, there must have either been a build up or something significant to happen for him to say it. |
