You have to understand that a lot of these guys get told their whole lives how good they are, better than everyone else. Have stuff handed to them. It is hard to break that when you become and adult sometimes. - Retinalz
Completely agree. The average NHL player comes from a fairly wealthy family, as somebody from a single-parent household I can assure you that making the rep team and having to not accept because of the cost was enough to teach me everything I need to know about hockey culture. |
