Strome is better than Marner.

Strome is better than Marner.

Strome...the guy who can't get into the lineup of the team currently on pace for 50 points...is better than Marner.

Strome...the guy with 18 NHL games, 1 goal, 1 assist, and a PPG average of .11, is better than Marner.

Strome...the guy who is 32 in PPG for his draft class, and 30th in points...is better than Marner.

Are you just trolling me here, Maursie?

Because if you aren't, you are well on your way to becoming a legend here at Hockeybuzz.

I cordially invite you to visit the Leafs thread to drop some truth bombs on Leafs Nation.

I can certainly promise you that you will have our full, undivided attention.

I'm practically begging you...

Have you watched a coyotes game? He gets 7 minutes a night. Averaged 2 points a game in the AHL. The coyotes who most thought would compete for a playoff spot are a disaster.

Unlike Marner who has a season and a half under his belt, strom doesnt even have a half season.

Wait 2 years and come see me. Marner is a one dimensional small forward. He would probably drop to the 2nd round in a redraft about 3 or 4 years from now.

Why aren't they playing in the NHL yet?
- Atomic Wedgie

Developing.. something Marner should be doing to improve his all around game.

He is a Mason Raymond clone.

What are you even doing here if your not going to actually have a rebuttal for something? Go back to the Leafs thread.

I'm sorry, Maursie, I have to ask:

Why do you think he only gets 7 minutes a night?

Holy frank, this is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Help me out again, Maursie:

Who is coaching Marner right now?

Does that guy have any chops at coaching young players to develop an all-round game?

You are trolling, right?

EK blogs that Isles are serious about Guddy, something we have been speculating as a good match for weeks now, and we get "visitors" "talking up" Marner

Ok, you guys have had your fun, go back to the leafs blog and post all the fun stuff you have learned today.

I have tired of this back and forth, Leafs are great, Canucks suck. Leaf fans are the most knowledgeable insightful fans EVER, canuck fans are idiots.

Done and good bye

It isn't...any more than Anderson being the best goalie in the league (Cherry, Nov 25th). It simply gets attention because it was prime time in the centre of the universe, and offended Leafs Nation.

On a more serious note, what would you think the Isles would part with for any Canucks current roster not named Bo or Brock?

It looks like there are a lot of leaf fans worried their team may be serious about going after Gudbranson.

It's not a surprise really.
Gudbranson is a Don Cherry type of hockey player.
and a TML homer.

After reading those jokers in both this thread and their blog I have never wanted anything more than Gudbranson traded to the Leafs for Marner.

They are certainly a cocky bunch since their team has gotten a bit better this year, hope they crash and burn and the team is screwed for a decade.

They could do worse, but this isn't a Leafs thread, last time I checked.

I'm looking forward to the game tonight. Should be another loss, based on recent play & roster, but I'm hoping Goldy has a big game playing against his idol.

Why do you think Dermott was in the line up last few games? It was to show case him to the canucks as part of a deal for Gudbranson.
