You would think if some of these rumored deals were true the recent play would spur GMJB to shake some things up.

The radio silence is a little concerning. Maybe he is waiting to make moves during the bye week?

If we make it through the bye and no moves have been made I would have to think we all might be a little disappointed with whatever comes next.

A deal now would be on GMJB terms. the closer to the trade deadline we get the less hope I have of a good return for whatever we are selling.

nothing is decided, he's been in talks with the Oilers, Pens, Blues and a few other teams. Nothing is set in stone that he's going to move Kane but he's looking for 7 year. Not that he will get it but it's the norm for asking prices, 15 is the only untouchable.

Pominville at least made the playoffs as captain. Gionta scored 35 points a year, presided over a split locker room (despite supposedly being a great leader) and never had clutch goals.
