No thanks. JB believes in him and so do I. He's one of those guys that's value goes beyond just goals/points. He's gonna be crucial to our long-term success since our high end young skill forwards need some sandpaper to balance our our lineup. Otherwise we become the soft serve Leaves

His speed alone makes him one more piece in the big picture.

I remember Cam Neely and his struggles in Vancouver very well. He scored only 14 goals in his third year with the Canucks getting lots of ice. Year after he scored 36 in Boston and the rest is history. Jake has a great wheels and a big shot, all he needs is confidence and maybe a better work ethic. That being said playing fourth line is not gonna get anyone any points, not even Tarasenko. B. Schenn would never have taken the next step in Philly but the change has allowed him a fresh start and the rest is history as well. He deserves to be going to the all star game over Tarasenko, clearly the Blues top forward so far this year. Just wish JV could get some quality ice time for a stretch.

I sure hope so because I just trade B. Skjei for him. Keep league of 38 years going strong. Skjei is really good but wanted to add a Canuck and JV flashes of speed, big shot, physical and a big body makes me think one day he could be very special.

I am hoping the first line is Horvat centering Boeser and Virtanen It is possible, Jake should be a much better corner man than Baertschi and could really mesh with the two super stars, well one anyway.

Lockwood as well, the forward depth is already great and JB will probably add another very good F prospect on this draft as well(doesn't have to be round 1 or 2)

Virtanen - Pettersson - Boeser
Dahlen - Horvat - Lind
Lockwood - Gaudette - Gadjovich
Eriksson - Sutter - Granlund/Sven'

If Lind isn't ready then bump up Gadj and have Sven on 3rd line

JB is moving towards a faster skilled lineup and I both respect and support him in implementing his plan to the fullest. JV represents JBs olds ways of thinking, if we keep him and other players like him in the lineup then we'll turn into the oilers, a bunch of slow dinosaurs holding back the speedster.
JB needs your support to implement his new plan, this means trading dynasties for new chances like draft picks. JB believes in the draft and so do I.

I’m leaning towards D again in the 2nd.
Deep draft so i need time to see more play out amongst those in that range.

Love it, forgot about EP He will be an amazing talent and much better offensively than Bo, something like this has to happen as the Sedin's time has come, sadly.

I agree.

Can always find another Gadjovich/Gaudette in the 3rd round or later with Benning's drafting ability.

We'll need em, all our forward prospects are playing in the big show!

JB must have signed a 10 year extension after hitting gold like that.

All of them are developing well since being drafted, it's not like they've plateau'd like Shinkaruk, McCann, Gaunce, Jensen, etc.
