True, but they were successful and they were the best team two years running.
P. Sharp was with Chicago for all three Cups and he played a big part as their second line center in the playoffs the first two. - LeftCoaster
First cup he was 3rd in FOs taken. In 13 he was 6th. |

I was going to quickly dismiss this, but I don't hate getting another 1st. Problem is, if they win were only moving up around 3 to 5 spots. 6 more years of dclining Sebrook is just not worth it IMO - neem55
Make it a conditional 2nd, anything lower then 22ov and it becomes a third.... or make it a third.
Seabrook at around 5 million per won't be the worst... not great but...
I didn't catch your edit, the conditional 2nd or third is for the salary retention.
Otherwise no deal |

If it was for seabrook and a 1st straight up, I could stomach that a lot more. That is a cap dump, we should be gaining a lot for taking that long of a cap on. - neem55
That contract might be the worst in the NHL. |

I personally don't think he's regressed that much yet I think he could play minutes in Van, but six years is a hell of a long time at 6.5. I think It's a good idea for a rebuilding team to take on contracts like this, I just think we need to get paid well for it. I'd want a pick this year and next year. 1st and 3rd. I wouldn't be giving picks back. |

Gudbranson and a second for Seabrook (1.5 retained) and a first - Pres.cup
Fawk Seabrook and fawk the hawks - we should never under any circumstance help them out. Anyone else that suggests this will be flagged, I award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul. |

How about LE, Guddy for Seabrook, 1st
we get a pick, they get younger cheaper D for cap, Seabrook be alirght for us I bet, BC boy. And LE off the books too.... |

It is!! - the fact that they have 5 more years for Itchy and Scratchy at 21 mil and Keith for another 5 years at 5.5mil isnt great either. We can sit back and watch the Hawks decline and rot with their horrific contracts. |

Or just LE for seabrook + pick? (cuz his contract is worst than LE) both need a fresh start.

Teams that take those contracts, the player is a long term IR guy. 6 more years after this year. |

If anyone doubts Adam Boqvist being a top 5 pick.
Erik karlsson has 37 pts in 38 games in SuperElit. 1 pt in 7 SHL in his draft year.
Boqvist has 18 pts in 17 game in SuperElit. 1 points in 8 games in SHL.
Boqvist is also a August 15th birthday. So one of the youngest players in the draft. |

Nobody doubts him but he is on the small side. Plenty of players I would take over him. He should go in the top 10 though. |

I think Gagner and MDZ are doing well too. Gagner is on pace for 36 points at 3.15 aav. Thats below the 100k per point. Hes not a top 6 anymore but forced into it right now.
MDZ on pace for 26 points. Not bad for a 3 million aav D. Brings physicality to a team that needs some.
These players would be better if not forced into roles above them.
They werent going to save the team. They were going to help out.
Burmy and Nilsson have not done well. - manvanfan
I've like MDZ from the start and Gagner seens to be coming around.
Burmy and Nilsson at total busts.

From the moment I saw they got all 4 I felt the first two would be fine and the bottom two would be garbage |
