Lol no penalty on either play ...and if you think the hit on Hedman was dirty then your watching the wrong sport - Redmile247
Was just asking on the Hedman play as I heard it was knee'/knee but didn't see. Brouwer for sure took a cheap run at Sergachev tho I saw that play. Flames do have some jackass players though so was just curious on the Hedman hit. |

Two of ten categories. |

StL is rumoured to be more in for a top 6 forward. TB, NYI, TML have been the most rumoured teams in for a RHD. All 3 have prospects and picks. - manvanfan
St. Louis has been running with only 6 defensemen on roster for sometime now... and Gunnarson is a midget on that team at 6'2", so they need Gudbranson.
They could take Vanek as well. Robert Thomas or Kyrou would be a nice addition to our pool. |

Mrazek is younger with better career numbers ...he had a 27 win season so teams will probably be more likely to take a chance on him - Redmile247
Mrasek is without a doubt the better of the two. Nilsson doesn't have trasde value at this point IMO, too many decent backups out there for a cheaper price. |

There has been a lot of talk about how bad the LE signing has been and I couldn’t agree more. I know this is no consultation but look at the other big names signed in 2016.....none of them have turned out. Okoposo, Ladd, Nielsen, Brouwer, Lucic.....all longer term deals and have been poope for their respected teams. Anyway we slice it, we would have been stuck with a poopty contract no matter which player we went after.
The real mistake JB did was the structure of the deal is so bad which makes LE unmovable. |

I'm thinking more the lines of the Chicago Bickell trade
Bryan Bickell
Teuvo Teravainen
For
2016 2nd round pick
2017 3rd round pick
LE has more value then Bickell did but has a larger contract. - manvanfan
Who in your mind is the Teuvo Teravienen-type we would trade to make this work? |

It's pretty ironic that Ladd has been the best signing out of all of them, I'm pretty sure none of us wanted him and he has far and away played better than those guys. I guess you could make a case for Lucic, who had a nice year last year. |

All we can hope is that at some point between now and next year TDL he heats back up and JB sells high. But no loss if we let him go UFA after next year. |

LE isn't as bad as Bickell. Granlund or Baertschi could fit in.
Granlund has shown this season that playing a shutdown role, he isn't a specialist at it. He can't play center. He's probably not good enough for a top 6 role. |

I disagree. Eriksson has a way bigger and longer contract. I like the idea of trying to trade him in a package, but we wont be getting a 2nd and 3rd for LE/Bae IMO |

He would probably be better on most other teams because Van has Cloutier as the goalie coach. That hurts all goalies. |

Yes, safe to say he's not the best when it comes to understanding the psychological side of the game. Great coach for the tank though! |

Or tweaking their styles so they stop letting in the softest (frank)en goals every damn game. The same way he did. |

Weak deal. I like shapiro/atkins less, if that's possible. |

Was talking to a behind the scenes hockey prospect guy for TSN. He was saying that Oliver Wahlstrom comparable is Kyle Connor and Barrett Hayton is this years Robert Thomas. Isac Lundestrom could be this years Lias Andersson. |

I would rather have Brouwer at 4.5 million for 2.5 more years, than having LE at 6 million for another 4.5 years.
Edit: he has an ntc that is a 15 team no trade. |
