They like to puff their chests out until you tell them you dont give a flying (frank) who you buy your car from then they dont sound so (frank)ing smug afterwards.
My father used to call all the dealerships within a 100 mile radius of our house and tell them all that he was going to buy a car but he wasnt going to negotiate, rather just get quotes from everyone around and that he would just go with the best initial price. he used to save thousands doing it that way even though they all hated it. Right after the new model years came out and at the end of the month i might add.

That's an awesome idea if you're going to buy a very common car. Or a fairly uncommon one and you're not married to color or options.

I watched a Bad Moms Christmas and now I don't ever want to celebrate christmas again and pretty much want to stop thinking about banging Mila Kunis now also.

You are absolutely correct.
Another thing he always told me was that cars are necessities and should be treated as such. Being that they are needs, not wants, you shouldnt worry about little things like color and every available option if theres a better deal to be had.
Basically, cars are money pits any way you cut it you will lose your ass in the end. The only thing we can have control over is the diameter of the pit itself.
Now collector cars, or sports cars, or bikes are all wants, not needs. When it comes to those color and options are everything and youre buying it because you like it not cause you need it and in that case pay what it costs or go without.
Also, the best color choice for a broke college kid i found is "retirement beige" and to this day if i see a car of that color in someones lawn for sale i always stop and have a look for friends of mine. 9/10 times its some little old ladies car that has been babied to the grocery store and back its whole life and will last seemingly forever and you can haggle them down with cash in hand like no other.

Actually watched the Michigan - Notre Dame game a couple days ago. If he can translate his game to the NHL he's going to be very good. He gets a little risky at times, making moves like Jack when he's the last man back. Still, solid player for sure.

Funny though I barely noticed Connor Hurley

Well you missed a black and white photo from 1955 that showed a 15 year old Jeanneret in drag.

I wish I were joking

I missed it.

So all these nay-sayers about Housley being too passive, as if they are on the bench, in the locker room and at practices...rather than many miles, sometimes 1,000’s away watching on PC.

He lights a fire under them by calling out the entire team out after Tuesday’s pathetic showing.

What follows is
1) a high energy, compete-filled practice the next day where players held each other accountable.
2) a high energy game in which they competed for 60 minutes and won.

Similar to when the team had their panties ruffled and had a Players only meeting.

So how long does this last?
Like last time, 2 games?

While it was a win, I disagree that it was a 60 min game.. First period we played great. 2nd & 3rd no so great at all. We were hanging on for dear life. The only reason we won was because of the Goaltender and a fluke goal. Linus had a fantastic game, made all the easy saves and made the hard saves look easy. Was wonderful to see. If I am GMJB/Housley, I throw Linus back between the pipes for a few more games and get a bigger sample size. If he can show he can play the same game as last night on a regular basis, I trade Lehner in a heart beat...I also like what I saw from Guhle the last 2 games. I did not realize how FAST he his.. Make easy simple plays and looks like he is not pressured into dumb mistakes...

The crowd was really into it. It would be nice if the players could build on that

No snow and probably no ice on the road down here but I still decided to work from home. It'll be icy later though so I don't feel bad.

For Bridgeport coach Brent Thompson, the goal is simplifying the game: making better decisions with the puck and playing better away from it.

He sees the potential in Ho-Sang and the progress he has made, but also knows there’s plenty of room and time left to grow — only five players on Bridgeport’s roster Wednesday were younger than Ho-Sang.

“He’s a baby,” Thompson said. “He’s a baby, he’s immature and he’s got a lot of growing to do. I’m excited. The upside of him is outstanding. He worked hard today, he’s been working really hard. We all make mistakes, we all have bad games. It’s how do we respond from those and what do we learn from them? Every piece of this season for Josh, with us, is a development piece.

The weirdest part is that he immediately stroked Ho Sang's ego after that sentence.

Leadership right there...

It was a joke.

Edit - That is a joke take, not a condescending remark on Jack.

Not saying it was a bad thing, I think it was great that Ghule is one of the guys it seems already.
