If you're inferring the promotions of Ullmark, Guhle or anyone else will bring this team to 20th overall, we would need to win 2 out of 3 games for the rest of the season to even have a chance. And to take this less literally, those call ups MAY give us 2 or 3 more wins on their own. Hardly enough to..ugh..ruin this.. stealth tank.

Sure, eichel is an easy going guy. Pretty sure he was part of the byslma firing. Sabres didn't need to cater to their generational talent.

Since we are talking about some GMs making bad moves, wonder what pieces would apply to get Hoffman or Pacioretty? Those two are the best that are on the market besides Kane IMO but don't think you'd see someone like GMJB getting them from a divisional rival

As for a coaching style change, I mean.. something needs to be done to make these players listen. Honestly, and there's continued reporting of this, there's certain guys who simply don't fall in line. They need to be traded, regardless of who they are.

When Eichel shot that puck on the empty net goal, I had two initial reactions (a) it was a bit selfish on his part, as he could have easily gently shot the puck off the boards and ended the game. If he missed there would have been a faceoff in the Buffalo zone with 5.5 secs left (b) I wanted him to get the goal, so I was all right with it.

Other Thoughts:
Guhle and Ullmark in Rochester or Buffalo? I would like them to stay in Rochester and try to win an AHL championship. Playing them in Buffalo would give them experience, but would hurt our draft position. This may be mute for Ullmark, as I think they trade Lehner anyway and call him up to be the #1.

I think Poullet is gone as is Kane obviously. Really sucks that Bogo is hurt, as he would have had some trade value, still may have some??

I think they've seen enough of Reinhart, but what's his trade value?

Hoffman would easily take a 1st.

Pacioretty, if Montreal thinks they can re-sign Kane, I'm doing Kane +. His value certainly decreased this season, but you know what he can do and you know the type of person he is. I would be ecstatic to have a guy like that on our team. Plays the right way. Honest and talented.
