Anyways....I'm glad they won, puts a little jump in their step going forward and makes for better more entertaining games to watch.

you guys can twist anything! Marwood didn't cut any corners, he worked with the blueprints I provided for him, I procured all the materials, the moral of the story is Booner traded away some good material for what he thought was better material but at the end of the day all his dealing slowed down his progress and that material he traded for turned out to be bad.

This is funny because my father built houses for a living for 40 years. I've helped build a lot of houses with my father for a lot of whiny people that thought they knew everything about building a house.

it's not about building houses, it's about process.

But all the materials you procured are old or broken.

Just because Marwood took all the off cuts home to his woodpile while booner used his skill as a negotiator to trade them for my superior labour doesn't mean his materials turned out to be bad.
You didn't like his materials but with time it turns out that the solar panel roof he installed was a good deal in the end.

I get that. It's just the same. A bunch of people that didn't know what they were doing trying to tell him how to do it.

That I get. Speaking of construction, we just re-did our on-suite in the master bedroom, it cost us ten grand, I think they took us for a ride

Really....REALLY want Benning to acquire more draft picks and use them to build by drafting our own players. The Burrows for Dahlen trade would appear to be excellent, in theory, the Hansen trade may work out in the end, to be determined, however I'd like him to get picks and draft and develop players himself.

I'm not in construction myself. I've helped and can do work but as for costs, IDK. I know my parents have redone both of their bathrooms a couple times. My father doing everything but the plumbing and they were around 5 grand. Depending on what you get put in. 10 grand does seem a bit much. Just depends on what you have in there. I guess if you aren't doing any work then 10 grand doesn't seem so wrong.

Solar is a long term plan.

I have a power engineer friend who just bought a farm. He put up a dish to heat his water. 30 solar panels on his $100 k shed. He gets enough sun to heat the place it only costs him 3 dollars per month.

Sometimes you can't pour the foundations because the temperature is to cold and you need to delay the build.....

Wife and I went to two open houses last weekend. One house was poured in the winter and had cracked upwards and had a bump in the floor.

The other house, they dug the basement too deep and cost too much to pour the concrete floor so put a floating floor in. I walked straight out. Realtor was so confused.
