I somewhat agree. A lot of these other emerging teams were bad for a long time, Vancouver was competitive for a decade and has had to flip its roster of old players. Leaves have been awful for ten years+ and completely rebuilt. I think both are rebuilds, but the context is interesting.

Before this season started I said are biggest issue is we have two backups. I'm not trying to say he's good, just saying Granlund and Edler looked just as bad on that one.

It makes total sense. Whether he is - or not, you only have to look at the rest of the forwards +/-. The only forwards with better +/- in fact are guys who were injured through this stretch other than JV who is not on the ice anywhere near as much as Brock. Vanek -19, H. Sedin -12, D, Sedin -11, Eriksson -5, Gagne -17, Grandlun -11, I mean, it's all there right in front of you. Every time these guys play with Boeser, they get some relief in the form of which end of the ice they play in.

Edit: Especially when you consider how much PP points are not reflected in his +/- and he is still hovering around even. #notmyendofice

KHL's Avangard Omsk players ended up in a massive brawl.. against each other at their new year's celebration party. Andrei Stas was the guy who got seriously hurt same as his wife.

I'd rather hold onto the old timers and let the kids play and dominate the AHL for a year. Any opportunity to get rid of LE and I would though.

McGinn was traded to Ana for a 2nd in the end. McGinn was traded straight up for Demers. So Guddy is worth only a 2nd.
