Id rather him making 6 right now then ladd, lucic or erikson... these are the types of over payments that will be made. Just look at past history.

Im pretty sure no one here is saying no to maroon at 2 million per at 3 years.. the problem is that will never happen.

So Lucic has broken 60 points twice and 50 points 3 times.

Ladd broke 50 points 4 times.

Eriksson has broken 60 points 6 times.

Maroon has one season of 40 plus points (on pace for his second) and one season breaking 30 points.

He's like this years Troy Brouwer. 4 years 4.5 is probably too much. That's not 6x6

I don't see why it's a long shot, JT is a smart guy.

The future, money, city, locker room are all things that would appeal to him.

I think after this draft upcoming, we will be well stocked prospect wise and still continuing to add players of quality from lower in the draft as the team starts winning more games in the regular season. eg: Boeser, Gaudette, Demko, Lind, Gado... have not come from top 10 picks. This trend has no reason to end.

3-11-2 in our last 16. Henrik has zero goals in his last 24 games. I think daniel has 1. I dont think they are doing insanely well as 2nd liners currently.
