I'm kind of indifferent to Kane. I agree and thought the last offseason was JB's best, MDZ/gagner/Vanek, 2/3 is pretty good. none of them too long-term. That's the first TDL/offseason where Aquaman let him off the leash and said "ok, rebuild is on" IMO. Each other year has been overestimating his old vets.

I don't want him around Brock. He'll turn him into a pig too then. Then what? We pay Brock 12.5M per season like the idiot Oilers?

They have. 30 points in 42 games each is respectable for sure. I dont expect any less though given their skill levels, cap hit, PP time and percentage of offensive zone starts. I know it seems like im ragging on them, but for 14 million in cap hit, i expect nothing less.

The team has also gone 3-11-2. When they were playing 4th line and not putting up points the team was 14-10-4. Clearly they aren't helping win too many hockey games.

I don't see why it's a long shot, JT is a smart guy.

If any prolofic ufa is going to sign here (EK, JT, Neal, etc). It will be because of what they see in boeser and horvat, and not what they see in the Sedins. Bright future, cup contention, solid showing of youth is how to attract these guys.
Im interested in josh bailey. Hes been solid, and tavares isnt going to be cheap. One will re-sign and im not sure the other will too.

JB tried to trade 2 vets the TDL before and they wouldn't cooperate. Did JB do this behind FA's back?
