I can't stop laughing at the God awful pass by Foles in the 4th that bounced off the defensive back and into Tory Smith's hands.

That pass wasn't anywhere near a receiver and was such an easy interception opportunity. Unbelievable.

I really can't see Hextall buying until the team is a top playoff seed. Values his assets way too much to get a deadline deal done from a buyer's standpoint imo.

The instigator rule has done nothing but get players hurt. The refs already had the option of giving a roughing penalty to a guy who blatantly started a fight, there was no need to go any further. The instigator needs to go.

Kane for example. Thats gonna cost something like the Blues pick or Morin. I can't see him doing that to go all in this year.

Yessss dude I was googling furiously this morning. Must have missed it or it just came out.

I've been a Sean Couturier supporter since the kids rookie year. Always thought he'd turn into a perennial Selke candidate who would give you 20-25 goals and 50+ points most seasons. However never, in my wildest dreams, did I think he'd become a guy who could flirt with 45 goals and 85-90 points. This is just amazing.

IMO rentals should be for contenders. They aren't there yet.

Continue to draft and develop and then maybe make a move.

If anything they might be sellers this year. I would imagine small moves if any. Would still be shocked if Simmonds is dealt this season too.

If he makes a trade it'll be for a young controllable player with upside imo. I doubt we see a rental or an established vet unless there was a trade to be had like a streit for filpula.

If he makes a trade it'll be for a young controllable player with upside imo. I doubt we see a rental or an established vet unless there was a trade to be had like a streit for filpula.

I doubt it as well. I don't see a huge upgrade to be had. I mentioned guys before who are close to nhl ready who I would target like a kyrou. But I don't know who would honestly give up much more than a 3rd for filpula.

I only included Filppula to open up cap space to bring in someone. The real deal would be the Flyers 2018 2nd plus a prospect to land an upgrade at center. But, after looking around at who could be available and knowing Hextall's philosophy, I don't see it happening.
