Consistency is what the flyers have needed this season. So far guys like G, Jake, Coots, Eliot and Provy have shown to be consistent through the first half. Now second tier chips ins have us winning a lot more games.

I really can't see Hextall buying until the team is a top playoff seed. Values his assets way too much to get a deadline deal done from a buyer's standpoint imo.

What do you think would be the cost to acquire a guy like Patrick Maroon? Couldn't be higher end pick/prospect for a guy with some playoffs experience size and speed with the ability to finish a round the net. Probably a PP2 upgrade as well.

I dont think right now , Maroon or a similar move , fits in with the plan Hexy has stated he was going with.

1 or 2 years now is when I think he tries to make a move like that.

Since neither team can play D, the Jags will go right down the field and put the Steelers out of their misery. I'd go with the onside kick and try not to give them the ball.
