I think Reinhart sucks, especially in the system which supposedly is based on speed up and down.
Not his game, but at the same time he has been playing better most recently...but not good enough to fit on this team in this system.
Apparently JBotts has come to the same conclusion and specifically made Reinhart available for trade (or so I read a retweet on here).
If true, let’s go JBotts, YOU are NOT on a mandatory break..get it friggin done, now...GO!! - IonSabres
I hope he figures it out, but at this point, even if he somehow finds his 20, 25a pace, i just have no desire to watch him as a Sabre anymore. I'm not sure what the holdup on trading him is. Maybe the market will be better around draft time, and teams would be more likely to give up D men.

Hopefully someone will overpay due to draft status and youth, because dude is an A1, prime biznust. Cannot beat anybody 1 on 1, cannot beat a goalie with a shot, cannot win battles, cannot stay on his feet, cannot skate.

To me, that's probably the number 1 reason Murray was rightfully fired. If your background is drafting, you can't go 1 for 3 when you're picking 2, 2 and 8

his drafting in general was terrible. until his last draft and Guhle he doesn't really have any decent picks in there. that grouped with his willingness to get rid of all our prospects and picks on kane and ROR makes this team weak with NO depth

Darren Dreger mentioning on TSN the asking price for Kane is 4 assets. Roster player, pick, prospect, conditional pick. He’s asking for the moon and the stars it appears.

I don't think Dreger is as credible as he used to be...

Meh, when you sell anything, you set the price high and wait for counter-offers. It will all settle itself out, but hopefully soon, Kane's production is falling and it's only a matter of time before he's hurt.

GM/coach jack probably told Kane that if he wants to play on his line, Kane has to give him 10% of his next contract.

i would take a pick and higher prospect and go.. i could see a conditional pick if he signs long term and i dont think that should be a problem for whoever picks him up.

3p in his last 9g without Eichel
9p in 8g for Okposo with Eichel
Jack's making erbody look good - jcragcrumple
That's exactly what we wanted, a star center who can make garbage look good. If Mittelstadt can do the same in 1-2 years, we'll look real good with Jack, Casey, Ror down the middle. Add this years 1st (if not Dahlin), Nylander (hopefully), and hopefully 1 or 2 guys like Smith, Oloffson, Bap, Pu, and this can be a real high-powered top 6.

A 1st and a quality prospect sound about right for Kane as a rental, if GMJB gets the offer he should take it. If he holds out for a little more, crap throw-ins like a 3rd or a low-par roster player, than he's going to get burnt by waiting.

so you trade kane.. inflate okposo with eichel trade him then rinse repeat with sam - IndianaSabresFan
If GMJB can inflate Okposo and Sam by playing with Jack for the rest of the season and then move both of these players by the draft, he would have my vote for GM of the year.
With the Islanders having two 1sts and two 2nds in this year's draft I would be looking to them for a trade. They are in a win now mode in order to convince Tavares to resign. Maybe work a package deal with Kane and Lehner for Greiss, Bellows, a 1st and 2nd. Could ask for a conditional pick if Kane resigns.
