"From talking to the guys," Pominville said, "there's been improvements from what they had last year. Maybe not as far as results on the ice, but what they're saying from practice, in the room and on the bench, so those are good things, but we've got to keep improving."
I don’t wanna trade up for Darnold (not getting to 2 either)
I like Rudolph better than Josh Allen & Lamar Jackson
So am I really trading all the way up to 4 for Mayfield?
Bc that’s where we’d have to go to make sure we’d get him
Good chance Denver or the Jets would (or at least could) take him at 5 or 6
So trade all those picks to get Mayfield?
Or keep all the picks & draft Rudolph?
Heck...
if we sign Keenum or Cousins,
then I’m ok not drafting a QB
Or at least waiting till the 2nd for Faulk
Rudolph might last till the late first or early 2nd
The problem is that if we really wanna make sure we get him, then we should probably take him at 21/22 just to be safe
This is all based on us wanting to take him obviously
That could change if we sign a QB

IMO its a mistake to make a play for any of the available big name vet QBs. I think there are too many other holes that need to be filled while to make a serious SB run now - so I would go for a caretaker who can run the show while Rudolph gets comfortable w the NFL and use the higher draft picks to fill the holes.
I also think we will need to replace Shady before we actually play in the SB again - only because our optimal window doesn’t open until he ages out.

We are pretty good at finding running backs in the later rounds I think will be fine at running back to be honest .
you could just drafted in the fourth round this year and you’ll be fine
